Hi to everyone - this is my first post!
A little background.
I'm from the land Down Under in Australia, and was around 8-9 years old in 1984.
Until recently (around six months ago) I wasn't at all active in the on-line community as it related to gamebooks. I was and had been a fanatic reader of Gamebooks in my youth, and had many series, including the first 14 Lone Wolf books. About 7 months ago, when trying to think of a new project / hobby, I decided to embark upon an online playthrough of gamebooks. My first series was Way of the Tiger, as a Kick-starter funded sequel and prequel had just been released, bringing the series up to 8 books. I spent around six months (and 160+ posts) finishing the Way of the Tiger series, and you can feel free to read it at Way of the Tiger Playthrough.
Anyway - on to Lone Wolf. I had decided on the Lone Wolf books as my second series, and had originally decided to simply use my books as kept at home. However, I was alerted to the existence of Project Aon and, when reading the FAQ, became aware of the copyright situation concerning text and, in particular, illustrations.
I've therefore started my Lone Wolf playthrough, and am currently about 80% of the way through Fire on the Water. I don't include any original pictures from the books, but rather link back to the Project Aon copies. The page is located at www.lonewolfsaga.wordpress.com Here's a direct link.
I hope it wasn't unseemly to mention my web-pages in my first post, as I'm really just trying to introduce myself. Having said that, if any from the LW community wanted to follow the playthrough, comment and / or give feedback on my writing so far - feel free!
For Sommerlund and the Kai!
