Oh, you are old if you can remember Simon the Sorcerer! It used 2D graphics! No 3D acceleration! No guns! Hand-drawn backgrounds without Tilesets! It's old-skool RPGing a la Monkey Island (another game where you should feel old if you can remember it). Interestingly, it's still for sale.

Come to think of it... would the equivalent of mithril in Magnamund be bronin? It could be korlinium, but I'm thinking bronin makes more sense.
