Does anyone know much about the subterranean druids that live in or near the ruins of Raumus and in the Durncrag range? Are they associated with the Ceners? I know they have a brief appearance in book 1, but I never seem to run into them. I'm hoping to use them as a plot device of sorts, so any and all information on them would be appreciated! ;D

I remember hearing about them and always assumed that the text was talking about those druids with the fish symbol. You know the hermit guys that you run into while playing the Chasm of Doom? I could be wrong though...

I remember hearing about them and always assumed that the text was talking about those druids with the fish symbol. Nope. The Fish Symbol guys are the Redeemers, a holy order of healers who have taken a vow of silence. The Druids of Malis Mound from Lone Wolf #1 are indeed descendants of the evil Cener Druids, according to Joe Dever in one of the Lone Wolf Club Newsletters (I can't remember which; sorry! ). They are still active in Sommerlund, despite the Kai's and the Border Rangers' best attempts to drive them out. They prevent the Temple of Raumas (where Lone Wolf first meets Banedon) from being restored and rebuilt. Hope it helps!

You fight their leader, Gardor Vezh at the end of Masters of Darkness. He's one of the five villains of Sommerlund. So the Kai must have had some success against them I guess, if their leader was sent to the Daziarn.
In the image accompanying the passage in the book, he's the one on the far right, so you can get an idea of what kind of robes they wore too. At least if you assume that he's wearing his Druid robes in that picture.

You know, all these years and I never made that connection. What an idiot! As to any success, I would hazard a guess that they're like any form of terrorist group: chop off the head and seven more spring hydra-like from the neck. But it would be nice to think that Grand Master Lone Wolf would lead a final crusade against them after the destruction of the Darklords.

Prisoners of Time, of course. I look up the Project Aon book. I find the image. I read the paragraph to get the name. I still get the name of the book wrong. Who's the idiot here? Yeah I suppose it would be hard to kill them off once and for all really. -GB

COOL! Thanks for the help everyone! I figured this would be a good plot device and enemy faction to employ against my gaming group, which is set in about MS 5073. The Druids of Malis Mound should be an excellent foe to pit a couple of Kai Acolytes and a 4-spell Brotherhood magician against who are new to the Second Order of the Kai. Thanks again, but still will be glad for any additional info!

How about deep within the rectal cavity, curing the evil wizard of his haemorrhoid problem and giving him an anal hysterectomy at the same time? *grin*
