I've been following someone's playthrough of The Bonus Adventure that comes with Book 27 and yet again I'm shocked that 2, not just 1 like last time, creatures as Smart as Helghast are supposed to be made such a dumb choice. But what do you think?. Why didn't The 2 Helghast think before fighting?
It happens when Ernan/the main character, A Mage called Tildan and A Loyal Lord called Elmir confront The Lord Alberine and his Advisor whose called Moranfar Cadvyr of Halsbek and Ernan/the main character, A Mage called Tildan and A Loyal Lord called Elmir reveal that they know but can't yet prove that Moranfar Cadvyr of Halsbek is A Helghast, at which both Lord Alberine and Moranfar Cadvyr of Halsbek reveal that they are Helghast and attack
The problem is that Helghast are, supposed to be, very intelligent and the 1's impersonating Lord Alberine and Moranfar Cadvyr know that Ernan/the main character, A Mage called Tildan and A Loyal Lord called Elmir know that Moranfar Cadvyr of Halsbek is A Helghast but they most also know that its possible that Ernan/the main character, A Mage called Tildan and A Loyal Lord called Elmir don't even suspect that Lord Alberine is A Helghast
So what seems strange is that since Helghast are, supposed to be, very intelligent and the 1's impersonating Lord Alberine and Moranfar Cadvyr know that its possible that Ernan/the main character, A Mage called Tildan and A Loyal Lord called Elmir don't even suspect that Lord Alberine is A Helghast why didn't beings as intelligent as Helghast are supposed to be make the split second decision to protect the 1 impersonating Lord Alberine by sacrificing the 1 impersonating Moranfar Cadvyr of Halsbek?. After all given how evil Helghast are supposed to be that sacrificing 1 to protect another would make perfect sense to them
