Hey there,
I just received my Collector's Edition copy of this book from Holmgard Press and discovered in my initial perusal that the book's pages are offset by one page.
This makes all of the section references appear near the binding in lieu of at the outside page edge - not particularly useful. It also makes title pages for sections show up on the left instead of the right and other small page order things.
Did anyone else receive a copy with this issue? Not a huge deal - and the book is still playable, obviously, but it is annoying that they would allow this lapse in their QA/QC process and print and ship them out anyway. This seems like a pretty basic thing to sort out for a publisher. If I'm the only one, I'll ask for a replacement, but if it's the whole print run, I'll probably just live with it as that would be pretty spendy for Holmgard to provide replacements for everyone.
Thanks

My copy also has section reference numbers near the binding.

They are all like that. The whole book has the pages shifted by one on the left, making the pages that were supposed to be printed on the right side on the left side and vice versa (notice how the CRT is printed on the two sides of the same sheet of paper). I don't know who is responsible for this, the printer or the staff at Holmgard Press. We'll have to live with this.

This is what worries me about all of the fantastic LW announcements recently… for every new project, that means less time for attention to detail on everything else. The first five DE’s are so nice, and I would really like a complete run of LW books with the same level of care. I’m worried that at some point they’ll take their eye off the ball and we’ll get another Maters of Darkness. Whether or not LW28 was an error at the printer or at Holmgard, someone should have caught it in the proofs.

These errors are nothing compared to those relating to missing sections in some of the books. When you have books that are unplayable because they forgot some sections, that's truly unforgivable.
