Hi.
I don't know if anybody could be interested in this. But, after having bought all the books. I decided to pass them properly; from the number one, all the way to the number 20.
While I have read a lot of times the books from 1 to 11, the latest books not so much.
While any death means to go back to the first book, I only start when I have EP 29 and CS 19. Once I pass the books this way, I will try to do it with completely random characteristics.
A last minute rule is that: If I die three times in a row in a 1 in 10 chance test, the last one doesn't count and I start the book again. If after starting over, I die again at the same point, then I go back to the beginning (And even if you don't believe it, it has happened to me).
So, after all the 250 tries have passed (or no) the first book (Flight from the Dark), the tally is: - 234 survivors. - 16 deaths. So, 6.4% of deaths in the first book alone.
Some of them were because: - Tried other options and was sucked by a foul-smelling bog (21) (6.25%) - Get the wrong path (154) (6.25%) - I was too curious (292) (6.25%) - For the record, it is a bad idea to run away when you are in front of the fallen prince, because it is an immediate death (306) (12.5%). - The most of them were deaths on battle (68.75%): * Against a Vordak (29) (6.25%) * Doomwolves (a lot) (253) (6.25%) * And, mainly, I died trying to be chivalrous and defend the prince (255) (56.25%)

While any death means to go back to the first book, I only start when I have EP 29 and CS 19. Where were you getting killed the most? The Book 9 fight against the zakhan? The Book 11 combats against the Chaos Master and the villains of Somerlund? And a defeat in book 19 (for example) was sending you back to Flight From the Dark?

Let us know if you get killed by a falling mast on a ship...or others due to sheer luck. That seems to be a running joke, especially in France.

And a defeat in book 19 (for example) was sending you back to Flight From the Dark? -I don't know yet. And it is different if we are talking about total of deaths or percentage. For total of deaths, I think that the sinking of the ship in the second book (Fire on the Water) will be very probably the most deadly point. - As I started with 29 ed/19 dx; the fights usually doesnโt have a lot of problems. Anyway, I usually use Allether's potions for the fights against the Zhakan, the Chaosmaster and the villains. But I think that the end of seventeenth book is the one giving me more issues. - Yep. ๐

I have to say that I select Kai-Alchemy in book sixteenth, just to pass the last possibility of death. Even more so, I think that it is essential to have Kai-Alchemy in the sixteenth book; by having selected it before or in this book. But in my opinion, is essential.

Book 2: Fire on the Water. Of the 234 survivors of Book 1, the tally of the Book 2 is: - (Only) 193 survivors - 41 deaths. For now, and I finished all the tries until Book 9, Book 2 is the deadliest. It is possible that there would be another book deadliest by percentage, but I doubt that there would be any other deadliest by total of deaths. Only 82.48% of the characters that passed Book 1, survived Book 2. In total, 22.80% died in the first two books. And how I died? - A snake bit me while I was sleeping. (8) (2.43%) - By villagers that thought that I was a killer. (54) (2.43%) - For the record, taking off the spear and fighting the Helghast isn't a good idea. (106) (2.43%) - Traveling without enough money is dangerous; more so if one of the travelers wants to kill you. (213) (2.43%) - Yes, it was stupid to lay down the Sommerswerd in a ship full of undead. Ok? I was checking what would happen. Well, they kill you. Of course! (248) (2.43%) - Three thugs attacked me when I was disarmed. I found them in two different pages, but they were the same cowards thugs. (131 & 298) (7.31%) - For attacking a knight in the tunnels. I really didn't know why I did this... three times. (87) (7.31%) - Now, for stupid ways to die, falling from the hourse while trying to run away from Helghast, has to count. (159) (14.63%) - And the most effective allied of the Darklords, the favorite of Naar, the one that has killed more Kai Lords that the own Agarash (Probably in total of deaths and percentage), the one and only... 'falling mast of the ship' with a whopping 24 deaths; almost a 10% of the 250 tries, I was killed by accident. (247) (58.53%) TBC...

Book 3: The Caverns of Kalte.
Of the 193 survivors of the two first books, the tally of the Book 3 is: - 182 survivors. - 11 deaths.
Only 72,80% of the characters passed the three first books.
This time I only died of two different ways: - Not opening the right cell and finding a patrol of Ice Barbarians (148) (18.18%) - And what can be more dangeroud and more deadly that a patrol of Ice Barbarians? Why, slipping in the ice and falling in the icy water, of course. (94) (81.81%)

First of all, I have just finished all the 250 attempts. Second, I finally reached the rank of Kai Supreme Master because... Third, thirteen attempts managed to end the twentieth book.
Thirteen of a total of 250, gives a possibility of finish all the books of 5.2%. Not bad. ^^u
I will give each and every book information, as soon as I have yime.
Greetings.
