Hi. I'm new in the forum, but not reading Lone Wolf. I'm coming from project aon Spain because there I hadn't found any answer to that: after a lot of readings, I realize of something weird:
In section 1, we have to choose between Viad Glacier and Hrod Basin. If we go to Glacier, we eventually can get to sectino 195, which send us to section 21. The point is that section 21 is part of de way to Hrod Basin. Because of that, in the next section (325), we find ourselves teleported from Glacier to Basin, in the way to Storm Giant Pass.
The secuence of sections is: 001 - 160 - several ways - 134 - 188 - 346 - 195
Is this right? Is there any in-game explanation for this?
Thanks in advance.

It's plausible. Check the map at the beginning of the book: section 195 shows you falling into a crevasse but just before that, section 188 says that you are not yet on the Viad Glacier but still on the Ljuk Ice Shelf. The section before that, 134, says that you spend the night near Syem Island. And section 21, which follows 188, mentions again that you are on the Ljuk Ice Shelf. It's possible that since you've lost your dogs and the sledge with its provisions, your party decides that it is better to go to the Hrod Basin (which is right beside from your current location) where you can get food instead of the glacier (which is a river of ice moving very slowly: I don't think there is any food there). It's only if you don't fall into the crevasse, in section 232, that it is confirmed that you've reached the top of the glacier.

Hey! I am from Spain. Where are you from? About the mistake, I think yhat Black Cat is right; but I would have to check it myself. On the other hand, in my opinion, the Vlad Glacier is ever a mistake. It's the most difficult and deadly of the two. In my opinion.

I'll check it out when I can, but if it is like you say, probably I won't ever feel unconfortable with this section again kinai, I'm leaving in Madrid, but I'm from Asturias. To be honest, I don't remember which path is worse, It has been a long time since I read Lone wolf by last time. My thought is give the books a try in English.
