Once I learned that GS3 had been published, I decided to see if an old "goof" from my paperback edition had been repeated online; it was. Section 67 (and all of the choices it leads to) is unreachable through normal gameplay. While there's nothing wrong with the gameplay as is, I would make a suggestion for enhancement purposes: instead of having the first choice (agree to the CM's price) in Section 187 lead directly to Section 94, change it to lead to Section 67 instead. Dropping the first two paragraphs of Section 67 would maintain continuity.

Uh . . . Section 67 of BtNG is reachable: 278 -> 314 -> 32 -> 67 Unless I'm missing something realllllly obvious? I looked on the flowchart of the book available via the Editor here: www.projectaon.org/editorSelect Beyond the Nightmare Gate from the dropdown menu, then select Graph on the bottom left. You will need Adobe's SVG Reader software installed to view it, however.

I thought I had checked every path before posting here, but I must have missed that one. I checked your outline and it works, though it's strange that my copy of the book doesn't match (32 points to 86 instead of 67). A misprint in the US editions, perhaps?

I checked in my UK copy last night, and the discrepancy in Section 32 doesn't appear, so that must be a Berkeley's Own error. Hope it helps!
There are actually still two unreachable sections in BtNG--144 and 190. They are impossible to bring back into the story, so we could only footnote them as unreachable.
