Well, it's been awhile since I checked on this project. I did the transcription of Books 3 and 4 of Grey Star, and I have been lurking around the forums ever since. But I stopped lurking around about a year ago, and now I am pleased to see one of the books I transcribed is published! It gives me a great feeling when I see my name listed in the credits, even though I did not do much. I wish I could have done more but as I have said before there is not much I can do with my worthless US versions of the books.
I noticed that there are no Illustrations with the Grey Star books. The last time I read the forums I saw that an attempt to contact Paul Bonner was underway, I was wondering how that went.
I had another question. In this Forum there is a thread regarding the New Order books, in that thread there is mention that Joe Dever is looking the get the books republished. Thats great, but if that happens what will become of all the work that Project Aon has done so far, and will it continue? I would be one the first people to buy the books if they were republished but just because a Lone Wolf book is in print doesn't mean it's better than what is online.
One of the things that brought me to this project is the fact that the U.S. Grand Master books, which I own, are "abridged" and are worthless, book 14 is unplayable and the rest are full of mistakes and bad links. It has always been my hope that through this project that I would finally be able to play Lone Wolf books that I was never able to enjoy before. I would love to see the books in print again but only in their full playable glory.
