Say, does anyone know how to join the KaiWisdom mailing list with a web-based e-mail-account? Yahoo always squeezes some advertisement in the message body, and that seems to sabotage the suscription attempt. The Wytch-King

Here ya go Wytch King,
the email is: kaiwisdom@world.std.com
and i think you just put "subscribe" as the body text and it signs you up.
I've been a member for yrs. Hasn't been much traffic as of yet. Everyones been quiet. But you can subscribe.

Thank you, Sunwolf, but the problem is: The message body has to consist of the word "suscribe" and nothing more, else the attempt fails. But Yahoo insists on adding one or two lines of advertisement to the message body as soon as I send it off ... Do you maybe know if the mailing list has a moderator or administrator or something whom I could contact per mail about this? The Wytch-King

Uh, well, now that's a tad embarrasing ... Made another attempt (after all, Sunwolf's Yahoo address was accepted), and this time, it worked. I suspect that Yahoo just broke up the confirmation command line, and KaiWisdom didn't like that. Probably wasn't that ad line, after all. Oh, well, thanks again for your help, Sunwolf! I'll go now and hide beyond a Shadow Gate for a while ... The Wytch-King, who didn't really want to call attention to this, but the thread probably shouldn't have a loose end any longer
