Geek god Gary Gygax wrote a series of gamebooks. What was it? Don't you mean co-wrote a series of gamebooks . . . ?

err... yeah. That's what I get for making up questions off the top of my head! Gygax shares the credit with the equally unprolific gamebook author Flint Dille. So, Outspaced, will you be answering the question or keeping everyone in suspense for a while?

err... yeah. That's what I get for making up questions off the top of my head! Gygax shares the credit with the equally unprolific gamebook author Flint Dille. Whose claim to fame at the time of the gamebooks being published was that he worked on the screenplay to the Transformers movie, apparently. He was also a writer for the animated Mr T TV series. He's worked on a number of video games since, though (according to the IMDB). I'd rather someone else answer it. Otherwise, this just becomes a thread about me, which, while nice for stroking the old ego, is pretty boring for everyone else. Thought I'd give a hint to people on this one, though; a nudge in the right direction, y'know.

I've racjed my brains, and the books, for the answer to your quesiton, Rel, but to no avail. Does this include the New Order series? No, it's a character somewhere in the original books, 1-20. Edit: Oh, BC already answered that. I guess that narrows it down to Lone Wolf books 1-16, or 1-3 of the Grey Star books. @bc: I had a feeling you'd know the answer. . .

OK... Lone Wolf gained two Sommlending titles not strictly related to his rank as Kai Grand Master. What were they?

Well, I'm pretty sure I know them, but I'm going to hold off since I've already asked two questions here.

LW becomes Fryearl after barbecueing old Zaggy and Warmarshall in Book 9. I always thought it strange to declare him a General and ordering him at the same time to stay away from the army to get those odd marbles. [BTW, does anyone know who became Heir after Pelethar died? Is this mentioned somewhere?] Also he becomes a Captain of a Ranger Company in Book 4, though that title is only mentioned in a Newsletter if I remember correctly. He was also declared Saviour of Tahou and Sommerlund, though I'm pretty sure you didn't mean those. Right, the trivia I post, despite not being confirmed in my answer: List all mortals (only those who are given a name) that accompany LW in his travels (walking to the stables together does not amount to travelling) and part company alive and not under duress (being seperated in the middle of a fight does not count).

Well, once again I think I could probably answer this; I was right about the last one! I'll give others a chance for a couple days. ~Relenoir, who likes to spread the fun around just like Outspaced. ;D
