I guess so. Man, that creates some awkward moments.
One night over a pint... BANEDON: So I understand you're the last remaining kai. LONE WOLF: That is correct. Mine is such a solitary fate. BANEDON: You know, I have always felt guilt about the kai's destruction. LONE WOLF: Why's that? BANEDON: Well, I was on my way to warn them, but I kinda got waylaid with these two kids... it's a long story. LONE WOLF: No way! You were there the day they got sacked? Wow, what a coincidence. I wonder how we didn't run into each other. BANEDON: It's a big forest. I only saw one other person. LONE WOLF: Oh yeah? BANEDON: Yesh, some bastard at these old ruins. I was getting ransacked by Giaks. This guy pops up, sees me and my predicament, and high tails it in the other direction. I mean, he could've at least yelled out a warning. LONE WOLF: Yeah, that guy sounds like an ass. Hey, I passed by the ruins on my way out. Didn't see you, though. Just some young guy, fighting off a hoard of... oh nuts. BANEDON: A horde of nuts? LONE WOLF: Uhhh... yes. He died. Horribly. And very far away from where I'm sure you must have been. BANEDON: Well that's weird. I always wondered who the jerk was that left me to die. If I ever find him... LONE WOLF: Ah... BANEDON: ... I'd have to give him my crystal star. LONE WOLF: Wait... what? BANEDON: Oh I don't know, I just have this feeling that I was supposed to give it to that guy. Oh well, he's probably dead by now anyways. It's not like there's TWO lone wolfs, you know? Ha ha! LONE WOLF: Right... ha ha... RIMOAH: Okay, who ordered the Bor Brew?

www.algonet.se/~thyhe/chr/066GHOST.HTMThere's Ghost Bear. As for why that name, well when I first started in the ERPG, I'd been playing Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries a lot on my PC. Clan Ghost Bear are one of the clans from that game, and it just so happens that the character I had in mind for the ERPG suited the name. So I took it. And, it sounds a little bit mysterious too. -GB

Nope. I was intending to be, but I was going through a busy period in real life and couldn't commit to it.

That's too bad, i was looking forward to writing with you.
Any thoughts on where the ERPG is headed? It seems to have majorly slowed down over the course of the last year.

People have gotten busy. I know for example that Marcus is hard at work studying in university, I've also been busy with studies. You're right, it has been quiet, it'd be nice to get it back up and running. I guess also that as people get older, the time they have available to spend on stuff like the ERPG diminishes as they gain more and more real life responsibilities.

Btw,dogs are the best pets,if you get the right one they're sooo cool Just so you understand my name explanation better btw, what is NO-name? oh well, when I did my military service I was a dog handler, and my instructor had 2 dogs of HER own, yeah, female boss ,and I'm not kidding buy she was a model before going into the military. Anyway, one of the dogs was on an unknown breed who she had found in a garbage bin giving out some noice, someone had taken 5 puppys and put them in a plastic bag and just thronw it away. And he was the only one that was strong enough to keep making sounds and in the end only one to make it.rest died at the vet. Ofcourse he was named garbage nickname gabbe and when I got internet gabbe was taken, and gabbe1 and gabbe2 so added a 0 and took next number, voila gabbe03. And hes was soooo cool, having a mind of his own, getting in and out of impossible places, didnt eat meat but mostly I think you call it porridge, maybe thomas can translate(gröt) and fruit and vegetables, his favorite snack was banana. edit------- bah, cant even see my own name, ofcourse I put a 0 and a 1 to get gabbe01,just that I nowadays at times use gabbe03 too,(no idea why really)

gabbe01: heh, when I first saw your name I just thought you were a really big fan of gabba/gabber (the hyperfast hardcore-techno music).
for the totally uninterested, my kai name was Moon Hawk, which I think was a random choice but it sort of stuck, mainly because I've felt an affinity for hawks and other birds of prey, and moon... cuz... it just makes it that extra bit cooler.

NO stands for the New Order series, the fourth part of the Lone Wolf series, after the Kai (books 1-5), Magnakai (books 6-12) and Grand Master (books 13-20). It includes books 21 to 28 (planned to be 32, but publishers cut the series short) and you play as an unnamed student of Lone Wolf, but you can create one if you want. I don't think that this part of the LW series was released in swedish, so it might explains why you didn't know what we were talking about with the NO names.

The source for my name - well I'm sorry but its a really boring as I think its fair to assume you all know where I got it from.
Essentially, anything I'm involved with on the net I try and go by the name DV and have done so for some years now. I've noticed one or two people out there who have Vashna somewhere on their websites and its actually quite interesting scanning through the results of a Google search on it. One of the most intersting has been "Vashna Media" where a student has literally set up a site to publish his own fan work (non-LW related unfortunately).
Acutally the Mongoose forum is about the only forum where I go by a different name, simply because I was too slow with signing up and there's another Vashna there. Therefore my alias is "Dragon Reborn" from Jordan's Wheel of Time series, which I highly enjoy.
DV, who's pleased to see his account hasn't been deleted for lack of posting.

Wyrmslayer is what I've gone by since I first started playing MUDs in high school in the mid-90s. One of my good friends used the name and I thought it was cool so I asked him if I could use it. He gave me the go-ahead, and I've been Wyrmslayer ever since. Even managed to get it on my license plate, too. And not sure what the NO stuff you're talking about is, though chances are I would pick Wyrmslayer if I was given the option to.
