Yup! Well done, BC, I crown thee today's gamebook-nerd. The ALEA JACTA EST gamebooks are actually rather well written and designed, each adventure being split into several chapters, each of which you must complete before progressing to the next. Artwork taken from the Asterix books is liberally scattered throughout the full-colour books, and the humour is rather similar.
And since you answered it, it's obvious that it wasn't just in my pocketses. I'd've thought everyone would have read a bunch of Asterix books; they were very popular when I was at school, almost as popular as Fighting Fantasy.

So I have to ask a non-LW question now? Let me think about it...

Can be Lone Wolf or non-Lone Wolf. You answered the question correctly, so you get to decide, BC.

Alright, here's an easy question... if you know what is happening here in this community! What is the name of the charater that you play in the Saga of Lone Wolf series?

There is something disconcerting when someone says "tomorrow" at gone 6 am - it must be the time difference!

I'm, what--eight hours behind you? I'm fairly sure I answered that question some time around 10 pm PST.
Okay, so here's my trivia question.
In Fire on the Water, one of Vonatar's death hulks holds a clue to the whereabouts of his secret fortress, but you can't (to my knowledge) stumble across it without dying as a result. What clue is this death hulk carrying?

It's a big bag of ice cubes, which you then slip on and break your neck.

You can take that bag of ice cubes to ice down your hurt pride when I tell you that you are WRONG.

I'm guessing this has something to do with zombie-Kelman and the instant death which awaits anyone stupid enough to not butcher him on sight. But to say what the actual answer is would involve looking it up, which I consider cheating.

It wouldn't have mattered, Doomy--the answer does not lie there.
