Then what is?
Besides which, have you given any thought to updating the first two Grey Star books in view of all the reported issues? ;D

We need a lounge subforum, for completely off topic topics. Like if someone wants to post pics of a gangrenous case of athletes foot and then we can post comments like "Just take 800mg of Motrin and put some laumspur on it." and "Screw that pal, take it from a professional, what you need is Oede herb."

Sounds little like Monty Python Humour to me...
Man running down the street and sees a sign that says "This is not a sign", with hundreds of beautiful topless women running after him wearing helmets and knee and arm protection pads...
This section is called the Tavern... after all.

There is the always the Tower of the Sun forums: www.daziarn.proboards.com/While there are some sections for Lone Wolf, there are also sections for things barely connected to Lone Wolf and a completely OT forum.

I just wanted to tell anyone happening to browse this forum that I was very excited this week to be able to share my love for the Lone Wolf series with 400 or so middle schoolers. I was a guest speaker during "Reading Week" which was being celebrated by the middle school where my wife is a school counselor. I told them all about how I fell in love with the series at about their age and it has remained my favorite series ever since. I described it a bit and handed out slips of paper with the necessary information to find Project Aon and begin enjoying the books for themselves. Out of the 400, if even 1% go on and enjoy the books, we'll have four new future Kai Lords.
I also shared about how I am now writing my own Role-playing game book series of the fantasy genre crediting Joe Dever for much of my inspiration and read to them from part of the first book I have completed (they got to participate in choosing which way the protagonist acted and had a blast).

That's wonderful to hear!
I wish you all the best with the series and thank you for sharing the love of the hobby with so many!

We need a lounge subforum, for completely off topic topics. I agree with this. I haven't lurked much here, but I'd love to have some discussions with some other enthusiasts to dip my toes in. There's a lot to catch up on. I didn't even know there were books after "The Curse of Naar." I mean, I thought I was pretty hardcore; I had all the gamebooks, including Combat Heroes as well as the Magnamund Companion. And if I feel intimidated by the volume of lore I need to absorb before I can even get in on the conversation, how does an interested newbie ever find a place here? My other question is about the Tower of Sun forum, then. How many folks from Project Aon are on both? Cuz I really don't feel like hanging out on two forums when I'm already behind on my Facebook.

My other question is about the Tower of Sun forum, then. How many folks from Project Aon are on both? Cuz I really don't feel like hanging out on two forums when I'm already behind on my Facebook. We are a few on both forums, sometimes under different names. The thing is that TotS first started as a website with a very active forum that had a RPG twist to it. And then, the Tower collapsed (read: the server crashed, erasing all the database). Some survivors of the collapse settled a temporary forum on Pro-Boards, but it seems now that it became the new official home for the LWRPG players. There's not much going on: without a proper website, it's hard to attract people. However, I try to add news once in a while that come from various sources that are not in English: German, French, Italian, etc. But for now, there's not a lot going on... Keep an eye on Project Aon since something is going to be announced in the next few days!

There is cross over between the two forums. The new TotS forum is certainly set of forums for chat whereas these forums are set up to support Project Aon and associated works.
Not much activity right now, but still people lurk. I daresay it could become active once more if there were people to be active there!
