I have a question about the 'Lost & Found'. Is there EVER a case where you can lose your equipment twice and regain the first set?

Not in the same book, I don't think, though it is possible to lose your equipment and not recover it, then lose your equipment in a subsequent book. You'd probably want to clear any lost items upon completion of a book. Note that Project Aon has used some comments from Joe himself in the Lone Wolf Club Newsletters regarding items lost in Book 9: upon completion, you are awarded your equipment back if you lost it. I don't think there are any other situations where this can happen.
