That is the funniest post I think I have seen! I nominate Dusk Fox for Monastary jester! I actually burst out laughing!

Except that in Book 13...
...there are Acolytes of Vashna running around in the chemical labs of the Cenerese, showing what I assume to be a fairly strong alliance.

As The Magnamund Companion shows (the countdown has begun, keep watching the skis . . . skies), the Cener Druids (approx. 2500MS) actually predate the Darklords (MS3072) by about 5000 years. Both were, however, sent forth by Naar himself, giving them a similarity if not exactly a oneness of purpose. Following the fall of the Darklords, one would assume those Darklord supporters who do not live in the Darklands (e.g. Acolytes of Vashna) would join forces with the Cener Druids. I do not think Cadak was himself an Acolyte of Vashna, more likely he was ordered by Naar, or one of His terrible minions, to try to bring about Vashna's return.
Edit: Dusk Fox is right that the Acolytes of Vashna were cohabiting with the Ceners in Mogaruith by MS5075, when The Plague-lords of Ruel takes place.

I would gladly take the role of Monastery Jester. Jester is actually a nickname I've had for a long time (since my name is Jess--it doesn't take a genius, y'know?).
And I agree with the Doomstoner above--it's a matter of Cadak being a good soldier.

I agree, while looking for the cener god's name I found the illustration of the Cenerese prayer hall that actually lists all the different races that have taken refuge in Mogaruith and there is quite a few. So point taken.
