Anyway, back on topic. There's a chance to earn huge cash in the book if you can answer the riddle correctly. So of course, having played the book billions of times, we all know the answer to the riddle in the Halfway Inn. So, do you abuse your knowledge and fill up your money pouch if you're short? I do. -GB Is that the riddle about the boy and the girl? I forget, but if it is: I still know the answer and wouldn't have a problem restocking my money supply! ;D

Without fail I either lose all my money, or reach the max in all of the gambling sequences in the game. One of the most memorable ones is in book 8 I believe when you can either go on the road or take the ferry. Taking the ferry allows you to make money off of a riddlemaster who gives you 3 riddles! It also lets you fight one of the coolest enemies ever! (And keep his special item, which is totally awesome yet worthless in the series)

Quickly off topic again, some people also play that you can't use storage until book 6 (simulating the absence of said Kai Monastery).
I personally always assumed that the king was holding my [nuts] for me. It's the least he could do after sending me on all these damn quests
... the forum's gonna edit the hell of that sentence, ain't it?

I like to take Hunting. That way I can dump all my meals out of my backpack and fill it up with gold instead. A cool optional rule is that if the amount of gold you have is ten times higher than an opponent's CS, you can successfully bribe him - while he is crouching over the backpack full o' cash, you can bean him over the head from behind with your (50 gc) beltpouch for an instant win. Works great on Darklords!

My curiosity is piqued, Zipp. If the king wasn't holding your gonads, what was he actually holding?
