I think I will add a column or something to the Hall of Fame, indicating what base Combat Skill & Endurance Lone Wolf had in the run-through. I think it would be interesting to see people making it through a by-the-book or hardcore run with lesser scores... Plus, I'll eventually be adding the option of choosing 10/20 stats for hardcore (or in-between that and 17/23 / 13/27)
Anyway, I just thought it would be cool to see who made it through with low stats...

Did you do that with 1.5.1, r4vage? I seriously hope that wasn't accomplished with 1.5.0 since no-death tracking has only just been implemented... i finished a hardcore in 1.50 then made another profile for 1.51 and finished it without dying. ;D

Dave: 10/20 hardcore? Holy mackerel....! r4vage: Good on ya, mate. I tried and failed deathless HC several times last night. Wouldn't you know it? One death was by falling mast.

Hall of Fame is now updated with all of the entries I've recieved so far. I posted intial stats for all of the run-throughs. We also have a couple of brave folks who completed the Kai series in Hardcore style without dying once! Kudos to them!

Might also be interesting to see discipline picks for the Hardcore games, as the initial 5 are all you get. A good choice here makes a big difference.

Not a bad idea...
Edit: Let's see... the ten disciplines could be represented by one or two letter symbols... C,HU,HE,T,SS,WS,MB,MS,MM,AK
I don't want it to take a lot of space - ideally we could have some sort of symbol/icon to represent the Disciplines... Then it wouldn't matter whether we were dealing with Kai,MagnaKai, or Grandmaster sets.
How about: Camouflage/invisibility = a hollow body outline Hunting = a fist? Healing = a red plus sign (like first aid...) Tracking = a footprint Sixth Sense = a head with wavy lines out of it? Weaponskill = a sword mindblast = an explosion mindshield = a shield mind over matter = a floating cup/bowl/box/item Animal Kinship = a dog/bird/some animal
Anyone want to make a stab at these images? They need to be pretty small - typical emoticon size 16x16 I think.
For now, I'll just use the letters. I'll get them posted up sometimes soon.

Dave, I have a question. What if I submitted a new campaign file under the same profile name but with different stats altogether? What will happen to my old entry? This is for instance I restarted a new campaign using the same profile...

For Hunting, a bow or arrow would probably be more appropriate, methinks.

Those are great Honza! I'll see what I can do to get them into the Hall of fame...
huanchoo, everyone is allowed one entry into each Hall of Fame. So, you could appear in the By-the-book AND the Hardcore, but only one name entry on each. However, if you'd like to submit an improved campaign file, for instance, a play-through with no deaths, or with lower starting stats, you are welcome to submit it to me, and I will update the Hall of Fame accordingly.
Which profile you use to do the run is of no consequence - you just get 1 entry max on each Hall of Fame.

Will there be different Halls of Fame for the Magnakai and Grand Master series?
I submitted my file, BTW.

No, but I'll add that specific series to the list of accomplishments for that person's entry. e.g. Kai(1-5), Magnakai(1-12) (or Magnakai(6-12) if they started at book 6... All that info is contained in the resumeX.dat file, so it's a fun distinction... Obviously, it's harder to get all the way from 1-20 than from 13-20 for the Grandmaster series... so it's cool to see if someone did it from the very beginning)
Congrats on finally getting past those Kalkoths, Taryn!

Okay folks, I updated the Hall of Fame with the latest submissions as well as putting in Honza's great icons. I included a sort of "tooltip" on the icons, so if you aren't sure what it means, just hover the mouse over it, and it should pop up...
Let me know whether the Hall of Fame is looking okay, and any comments/suggestions, etc.! Thanks.

I'm going for the "By the Book" HOF, and I died in book 2 twice before finally getting through (and thanks to a low CS and EP (11/20), I was cutting it very close when I did succeed.)
EDIT:And it's too much for me. I'm going back to the beginning and hope for a better CS/EP
