Hey I have a character that I created on paper, I was wondering if there was a way to input the info into a profile on Seventh Sense. I already played through the first book with it. And so I have a few items but mostly I just want to put in my combat and Endurance.
My combat is 12+2 with weaponskill dagger and my endurance is 29. Is there a way I can just put these in while making my profile so I can just move him over to the computer one?
Not a big deal because I can create a new character but I'd like to be able to continue with my old one^^
thank you

There is currently no method to accomplish that. You could opt for the Hardcore method of choosing stats, but it would limit you to a max of 27 EP, and you'd still have to go for a random weaponskill.
The only way I can see you getting your character in is by lucky RNT rolls when starting the book. And then, if it didn't work out, just restart the book and try again!

Is there anyway I can create a profile and manually edit the data file and change the characteristics?
Thanks for the quick reply^^
p.s. might be a nice feature to put in upcoming versions

It would sort of defeat the whole Hall of Fame idea if people could just open up and edit their profiles/savegames with a text editor, wouldn't it? Perhaps I could just change the one option of "19/29" stats (when you first choose gameplay rules) to a "pick your own", then you could choose your 12/29 or any combo you wanted. That would actually be fairly easy, now that I think about it...
But editing other characteristics(weaponskill/items/etc) in-game or otherwise is something I'm probably not going to implement.

That would make me incredibly happy, I understand why you don't want to let people edit the data file. But if there's something implimented to simply allow me to pick the attributes at the begining then all I would have to do is keep rolling on weaponskill. I'm rooting for this feature also considering it would also allow people to use their own system like what I saw on another thread here.
