Doesn't seem to matter. I've logged on a number of separate times and have had the same error every time. (FWIW, if I hit refresh on a page during the game, I'm sent back to the login screen. I haven't been able to actually do anything yet in the game due to having a dead Lone Wolf every time I hit section 1, so there's no question yet of saving and reloading ...)
I rolled a 29 for Endurance this time and *still* got the glitch. From what I'm seeing, it appears to happen around the time that the roll for Gold is made:
* checking the Action Chart right after rolling CS and EP shows them correctly;
* checking it after getting my initial items and gold shows EP has become 0. The rest of the character creation process works fine, after which I'm naturally told I'm dead at section 1 due to having no EP ...

That is weird amarande. I also just started MC and I did not have this error. Hope it gets fixed soon so everyone can enjoy it.
On a side note, did anyone notice the Kai Disciplines page has a discipline called 'Animal Kindship'?

What browser are you using, Amarande? Is your installation of Silverlight up-to-date? Those sound like the most likely issues here.

amarande, for the reload page it's normal, Silverlight is like flash, so everything is contained in one single HTML page. Hitting reload in your browser will reload the entire html page so the game will "restart".

Hi Kai Master FatKobra, Nice software for the Kai and Sommerlund! Different atmosphere and enjoyed the gameplay thoroughly! Really like the points system. Some recommendations and issues: (1) Can we keep the Backpack Items in the Monastery as well?  (2) Well, from Book 4 to 5, some Special Items like Diamond and quite a full pouch of gold crowns are kept in the Monastery, and when Lone Wolf's back from the trip of collecting the Magnakai Manual from Vassagonia and going forward to Varetta, they are gone!!! Seems to be some hanky-panky stuff occuring when the Kai Lord is away... There are lotsa extra Maps in the LW's home as well...  (3) When LW "restores" his equipment in Zakhan's dorm, all of his prior souveniors like the "Bejewelled Mace" are dropped and replaced. Maybe too excited to get his Sun-Sword and Dark Dagger back? ;D (4) As for the points system, you could put another column showing the points of the "best" saved game? The showing of stats you suggested are very welcomed as well. [glow=red,2,300]A great work![/glow] Will recommend to my gamebook friends in Singapore. |

I've got a problem when I want to load a game. I've got 3 saved games. I can load the first one (Book 6, Section -6) an the last one (Book 6, Section -6), which are backups, but I can't load the second one (Book 6, Section 319), which is my current game.
Do you know how to solve this ?

Bye Ewokie I've got the same issue; the sequence goes: (1) Started in the second save game. (2) Tried reloading from other slots, and save in the first slot, and occurs again after a few saves (3) Tried reloading again from other slots and save again (in first and second slots), and problem did not resurface anymore. The entire gameplay during which this happened was about 4-5 hours, on 5th Nov if I recall correctly. Seems to be that there are particular time voids where the Shadow Gate appears randomly in the save slots and when you tried to save, Lone Wolf is sucked into the void and unable to return... |

Well the text clearly states that only special items can be saved in the monastery, but I think I'll add an option to save backpack items also. If so then I'll have a look at this bug. If you're just implying that some items like the diamond are worth thousands of crowns, I think I'd like to hear what other players think about it, but maybe you could always be able to fill up your pouch at the beginning of each adventure? I don't really use the Bejewelled Mace after Book 5 so it does not matter if it is dropped. Though most of the time I'll keep it safe in the monastery.
