A couple months ago kamikaze suggested an award system for Seventh Sense. As far as I know it hasn't been implemented yet, so, The latest version that can be downloaded from Dave's site doesn't yet offer this extra, and since I also liked the idea and didn't wanted it to be forgotten, I added the first two achievements: Loyal Son of Sommerlund and Faithful Son of Sommerlund to my program.
Please try it, and if you like it, I'll continue adding them.
I'm also open to new suggestions in this regard. Achievements arching over several books like Kai Master Daredevil are also possible, and pretty much everything the player does can be recorded. Please keep in mind that right now only the first six books are available, and also that I'm not very great with artwork, so if you feel up to it, I'd be more than happy to include your medal designs as the representation of the completed achievements. Right now they are 50x50 pixel images, but since the only limitation for their size is the resolution of the monitor, displaying them in up to 300x500 pixels can also be arranged easily.

Heisenburg, It has been implemented in Seventh Sense. Please see the "Magnakai progress" thread. It simply is not yet available for public consumption.
While I certainly have no qualms about you implementing an Award system similar to the one in Seventh Sense, it does seem to tread on my toes a bit to implement the *exact* same award system. Perhaps you could think about a series of different awards, or something that would add to the distinctiveness of your program apart from the those things that make Magnamund Commander and Seventh Sense such interesting gamebook readers.
Just my own two cents.

Davu, I checked both the magnakai and the award thread, that's where I got the parameters for the achievements.
As for treading on your toes... Well, as far as I can tell from that thread, the idea originated from kamikaze, back in september. For the past 8.5 months there was no visible development in this regard. It's true that the internal version has this for 3 months, but from the outsider's point of view, let's face it, that really isn't much. I admit that my phrasing wasn't entirely precise, I should have said that the latest downloadable version of the software doesn't have this addon (I'll correct this mistake of mine). I was simply curious about how hard it would be to implement this idea into my own program, and I didn't wanted to first spend a couple of hours finding some meaningful criteria, when there already were some great ideas.
I'm not here to compete with you in any way. To be frank, I'd prefer my award system to be expanded towards the WoLW, and later to the FW series rahter that to LW. On the other hand, I also have some of my own ideas for the LW books, it's just that I don't know how realistic they are. Yet. Also, I don't know what else you plan to implement beside those already mentioned by kamikaze, so for obvious reasons I cannot even promise you that I won't come up with anything you already added.
I do have my distinctiveness from both SS and MC (which, using your words, are threading on each others' toes by concentrating solely on the Lone Wolf series): the four WoLW books, and (for now) the solo versions of the two combat heroes books. I'm currently working on the multiplayer White Warlord-Black Baron books, and after that I'll probably start working on Highway Holocaust. At the same time, when I have just a little time, I'm constantly searching for other possibilities, and that's how I ended up adding the awards system.

Great, but maybe when you get the award the message should stay for longer. 5-10 seconds, perhaps?

If you don't hover the mouse over it, it stays for 10 seconds. If you enter it's area, it disappears immediately. At least that's how it's supposed to be working

What if your mouse happens to already be in its area (like mine)?

Then you must be very fast In theory, they should appear when you enter section 350. To enter section 350, your mouse must be on the lower right side of the book, at the section selector, and the small text should appear on the top left corner... Unless, of course, you use the enter key... That's an interesting question. Okay, how about changing it so that you have to click on it to make it disappear prematurely? EDIT: with the latest update of the program the change mentioned above has been deployed.
