I *think* I found and fixed the RNT guiding box bug. I *think* it had to do with going to the "Appearance" menu, where you change the buttons/paper, etc. I'm not sure exactly what order of events would need to happen there to trigger the bug, but I've redone the code involved, so hopefully it won't be an issue at all in the next release.

very minor typo (maybe): book 2 "fresh start" award, in its description there is written "You earned this distinction among the Darklanders for your..." Shouldn't there be rather "Lastlanders"?
And just one flow-play suggest, book 1, section 140 (watchtower). When I choose to climb the watchtower, and do not fall (36 -> 323), maybe when I return to the section 140, the climbing option should be greyed. (There is no reason for another climb).
But, if I fail to climb, it is good there is possibility to another try. (In fact, once I managed to get up on sixth attempt and lose 10EP just for getting two-handed weapon in hardcore play ;D )

Would you post this in the Seventh Sense Awards thread, for kamikaze's opinion? I have had very little to do with the content of the text for the awards... Now that's dedication! Yeah, you're right, it makes sense that if you've succesfully climbed up, you won't go up again... Fixed for next release. ------------- Also fixed is the situation where you don't have your Weaponmastery weapons selected and you click "Begin" to start the book. Now it will pop open your weapons page in the Action Chart and you'll see that you have to finish that first. It works quite nicely.

EDIT: As you've said - all of the above is in no way critical, so maybe it could be left as is. In fact, I can't think of any commercial product where authors would gather complaints of their product's users and react immediately (5 released updates in a week is just crazy). I didn't mean to make it sound like I was downplaying the importance of fixing the bugs you reported. I only meant that because they weren't causing the program to crash (critical bugs), that I would wait a few days to release the fixes, so I can take care of the others that will crop up, and release all of the fixes at once... Thanks for the good bug reports!

I didn't mean to make it sound like I was downplaying the importance of fixing the bugs you reported. In fact, I added the EDIT so my post didn't sound like I was complaining about some minor issues which I want promptly fixed. I havent figured out how to store items/gold. :-D Can anyone give me a hint? On the action chart click on the 'Chest' image (right next to the medal image that gives access to earned awards) -> Choose 'Storage' (in fact it's the implicit choice) -> There should be buttons 'Withdraw' & 'Deposit' (depending if you're allowed to deposit something & have something in there to take with you on an adventure) BTW, if you scroll to the bottom of the Equipment section (when starting subsequent books) there's a button to access storage (right above 'Next' button) - it takes you to the 'Storage'

Well at the beggining of the book I click on storage and there are no buttons. :-( It is book 4 so I should be able to store items.
EDIT: In book 5 it works just fine... So am I not alowed to store items in book 4 or is it a bug?

OMG what is wrong with me! Do these crashes happen only to me? :-D I wanted to do a by-the-book run rolled pretty good stats and then the game crashed... Yeah, it's pretty much just you... Just kidding. Seriously, though, have you tried a fresh, full install of 1.6.5? Uninstall the previous version, and just delete everything in your "<User>/Documents/Seventh Sense" folder, so there is nothing left, and then reinstall 1.6.5, and see if you still get the crashes. I know that sounds pretty drastic, but I'm wondering if your installation is really messed up somehow... If you carefully read the "Equipment" text for book 5, it explicitly states that you are allowed to leave things in "safekeeping". If you read the same text for book 4(and prior), you'll notice that it makes no such mention of being able to leave things. Therefore, in By-the-book & Hardcore settings, you cannot store items in books 1-4, but you can in 5. There is a Gameplay rule setting which allows you to access storage in all of the books (except book 1, of course). This is default for the Prodigy style of Gameplay.

Found some bugs in book 6. Section 199: I decided to bet on the conjurer's riddle, even though I completely forgot I had 0 gold. I could not leave section 245 since betting 0 did nothing. Could you add a check to see if the player has at least 1 gold in section 199 before allowing to go to 245? Section 232, 328 (and probably 172 as well): I lost all my gold in beer for the soldiers you meet when you use Divination (this is what you get when you try to be nice ), and I could still pay the room and the meal free of charge. I don't know if there's a way to prevent this since the book does not allow any other options than to pay for the room.

Could you add a check to see if the player has at least 1 gold in section 199 before allowing to go to 245? This is fixed for the next version. Thanks! Unfortunately, it's a book design issue. Joe assumed that players would have enough money here, and didn't allow for those who might be broke (whether through bad luck, or intentionally storing/tossing crowns). Kind of like how he makes the design assumption that if you have the Sommerswerd, you must naturally be using it... (like in book 2, versus the undead). So, unless you'd like me to basically force a restart by greying out all options (which seems like a poor solution), we're just going to have to allow that LW can pull off a pretty good counterfeit! -------------- Lone Wolf: Here you go, here's a Gold Crown in exchange for this Donut. Woman: Hey, this Crown's got a hole in the center! Lone Wolf: Lady, there's a hole in the donut, too...

Hmm so I did a clean install and also deleted all the books. No crashes so far but I cant see any pictures and cant download any :-D My guess is that my profile "thinks" I have already downloaded all and selected one, but the file is not there.

Topel, If the checkbox is checked under the cover "picture" (what I assume is a red box, which means a missing image), uncheck it and you should be able to download new covers.
However, that makes it sound like you deleted only part of the previous installation - did you delete the "profiles" folder as well? Did you use the Uninstall Programs utlity of Windows to uninstall, or did you just manually delete stuff? From what you just described, it seems like you still don't have a truly fresh installation, but you're carrying over baggage from a previous(messed up) installation.
In order to truly start afresh, you will need to find that "<user>/Documents/Seventh Sense" folder, and delete *everything* inside it.
In fact, that makes me realize that the uninstaller ought to do that for you... I'll see if I can make revisions to make it do that.
EDIT: okay, the latest installer/updater sets a flag in the registry to delete the folder in question when you uninstall, truly wiping Seventh Sense from the System.

Eh but I want to keep my profile/awards! So I cant delete everything. I used uninstall program and then deleted the books I thought that should do it. :-)
And the problem is different there is no checkbox and no image and I cant download aby pictures.

When you say no image - is there a red box? or just nothing? I've sent you a PM.
