Old school I know but this seems to be a bug. Am using 1.12.3 At the start of book 2 you should be given 10 + random number of gold in the Equip section. For some reason (and I have now retried this about 8 times because I keep getting killed) it is only awarding the random and not the plus ten.

Redcat, that is strange indeed. I just tested it and it worked as it should for me... Are you doing this in Windows, Mac or Linux? Are you continuing from book 1, with some coins in your pouch already (how many, if so?), or a fresh start on book 2?
On a related note, I just fixed a bug where it tells you the amount of coins that you were given at the beginning of a book didn't all fit in your pouch... it was telling you the number that you actually took into your pouch, versus the number that went into storage. I don't know if that was even a feature in 1.12.3, so it may not be related to Redcat's bug, but it's fixed for next release.

Hi Dave Playing in Windows on Prodigy mode and had already put all coins from book 1 into storage so purse was empty.
Will retest when I go through again. Stuck in book 3 at the moment.

Hi Dave,
compiling on Ubuntu works for 1.12.3 but 1.12.5 fails.
Error message: src/font_tool.cpp: In member function 'TTF_Font* FONTTOOL::load(const char*, int)': src/font_tool.cpp:26:39: error: 'TTF_SetFontHinting' was not declared in this scope src/font_tool.cpp:35:39: error: 'TTF_SetFontHinting' was not declared in this scope src/font_tool.cpp:64:31: error: 'TTF_SetFontHinting' was not declared in this scope make: *** [src/font_tool.o] Error 1
I had a look at /usr/include/SDL/SDL_ttf.h. There is no TTF_SetFontHinting because Ubuntu's file version is from 2007 and SDL-SetFontHinting was 'invented' in 2008.
After deleting the three TTF_SetFontHinting-lines from src/font_tool.cpp it compiles and runs perfectly.
I don't want to install a newer SDL-TTF-lib because it would undermine the Ubuntu packaging system. Until they update this package I have to live without font hinting.
Dave, could you change the code to use the function TTF_SetFontHinting only if it exists – without error message if it does not?
Greetings from Berlin, Lew

Lew, this should be fixed in the newly released 1.12.6. (shouldn't give an error if using the older lib, and should use the correct hinting if the recent lib is used.)
-----------------
And in case anyone reading didn't follow that inference: v.1.12.6 is now released, it addresses those issues above (except possibly Redcat/Kite's issue above.) Please ensure that you are running the latest version of Seventh Sense before reporting bugs. I hope that this is the last release before the Grand Master series, but if you guys find any game-breaking bugs (that prevent one from finishing a book, for instance...) I'll release another fix. If not, we'll just let any minor reports accumulate here, as usual.

Book 10, section 166: I rolled a 2 on the RNT but didn't lose any EP. I didn't have Huntmastery.
Also it seems that when recovering lost items, the "recover" button is also activated for items you put into storage (dunno if you can actually recover them though, I didn't try).

Fixed: book 1, sec 203 - fixed the <10 EP button so you can't click it if you are actually dead. Fixed: book 10, sec 166 - now it only subtracts 2 from the RNT if you actually have Huntmastery. Fixed: "reclaim" button now only appears on actual lost items, not storage items. (clicking those errant "reclaim" buttons on storage items will potentially crash the program. Ugh. So, don't do that.) Fixed: Book 8 award for "Cursed Monk" checks for correct sections now. Could be earned before as well, but probably was a bit harder than it had to be!

Book 8, section 74 - The fight against the Korkuna. At least on prodigy mode, I only get combat bonuses from the silver helm and lore circles on the first round of combat, after which my combat skill reverts back to 15.

Book 11, section 77.
The used Arrow is not deducted from your Quiver - the button is missing. Probably the word "send" would be the best fit.

Book 1, message in section 267, when you pick it, its label states: "An indecipherable message written of animal skin". I know that this is the height of nitpicking, but I cannot help myself and must point out that it is decipherable. Just use Giak dictionary and alphabet from Magnamund Companion

Perhaps it was meant to mean it was indecipherable to Lone Wolf at the time? ________________________________________________________
In By-the-Book
Book 3 Section 328 you can use potions even though the text states you cannot
Book 12 Section 133 You can use the Sommerswerd during the second round on(perhaps even during the first) This Helshezag path is a bit safer with less chance for instadeaths than the legit Sommerswerd one
Book 12 Section 230 You can use the Sommerswerd in this combat even though picking the legit Sommerswerd path would result in instadeath
Perhaps you should not be able to complete the books where you drop a special item(to free up special item space or feel like being a rebel) that is needed in one of the last few sections(Book 7- Power Key and Book 12-Crystal Explosive for example)

Book 12, section 35, prodigy
Xargath should count as an Animal (Bronin Warhammer bonus for example).
And a side question, are Drakkarim humans? I think they are, but I'm not sure about prodigy mode weapon bonuses (Card Sharp's Dagger in book 2 for example).

Perhaps you should not be able to complete the books where you drop a special item(to free up special item space or feel like being a rebel) that is needed in one of the last few sections(Book 7- Power Key and Book 12-Crystal Explosive for example) You *can't* complete book 7 without the power-key. I'll look into the book 12 business... that sounds like a good idea to me. Book 12, section 35, prodigy Xargath should count as an Animal (Bronin Warhammer bonus for example). And a side question, are Drakkarim humans? I think they are, but I'm not sure about prodigy mode weapon bonuses (Card Sharp's Dagger in book 2 for example). Xargath now has "Animal" added to its various internal descriptions, so +X vs Animal weapons should give a bonus. And Drakkarim are indeed human, and I *think* I've added that to each Drakkar/im that LW fights. If you happen to notice a missing bonus somewhere, let me know. I have been known to make a few mistakes here and there! Book 1, message in section 267, when you pick it, its label states: "An indecipherable message written of animal skin". I know that this is the height of nitpicking, but I cannot help myself and must point out that it is decipherable. Just use Giak dictionary and alphabet from Magnamund Companion Yes, I'm sure it's just from LW's perspective. I see no harm in changing it to "A message written on animal skin", so I've done so. ------------- -I've changed the two Darklord battles mentioned above, so that you cannot click "Fight" if you are weilding the Sommerswerd. -Fixed the book 3 - no potions from damaged throat/Helghast section, as well as added the option of still surviving if you possess the "Magic Spear" (but no Sommerswerd) since it can kill Helghast, too. -b8 s74 - combat no longer resets to CS 15 after 1st round. -b11 s77 - arrow is now deducted.
