So, Version 1.17.0 has just been uploaded to Google Play Servers.... As always, it will be available for download in a few hours or so  The App update mainly includes Book 16, The Legacy of Vashna. I had to tweak the DB Download procedure a lot, because I receive daily reports of players unable to download the DB's..... So starting from this new update, if any of you gets an error during the download of the DB's, you have the option of sending me an email with the complete Bug Report, that I will need to correctly identify the cause of this massive problem. Please use (and abuse  ) this function For Sommerlund and the Kai GDV Hi everybody ! I'm on a nvidia shield K1 tablet on android 7. The problem for is that the database just simply did not download. The progress bar appear but stay empty. I have no crash report to send so i post here. If you want some details just tell me Bye ! |

Hey guys, Love this game  I was having this db download issue (I'm using a Galaxy s7 edge). I finally managed to download everything by doing this: - close the application completly (do not just go back to main screen with the home button) - open the application - go straight to the download section and download one db (only one) Now do this process for each db to download. Hope this will help some of you that are having downloading issue (I just created an account to share the solution that worked for me). Message to the creator: If this is a working workaround do I deserve a free bookmark? Cheers |

You can export and re-import your profile from the profiles Sections (it's been available for a while now, and it's also explained in the FAQ's Sections): The icon with an out-going arrow lets you export the Profiles, and the icon with an in-going Arrow lets you re-import your profiles If you're looking for this export/import functionality in the latest version but cannot find it, i.e you see a wolf-head with a "plus" and a wolf-head with an "eye", but no arrows... you need to press the Android menu button to get the import/export/delete options. This caught me out at first. |

Problem with export functionality: I completed The Darke Crusade (the last book available at the time) and exported it. After importing to my new device, it took me back to the beginning of The Darke Crusade, even though I had already completed it. I think the export should store "Current Book" as The Legacy of Vashna, even when The Legacy of Vashna is not ready yet. Otherwise anyone who has completed all completed books so far, will be sent back to play the last completed book all over again.

Hello everybody,
I think I finally figured out what is causing the DB download's problem....
I could need someone with a Android 6 or Android 7 phone (and Lone Wolf Saga version 1.17.2) to do this test for me:
- From "Settings" -> "Apps", enter "Lone Wolf Saga", "Permissions", and check if "Storage" is enabled or disabled;
- disable it, open Lone Wolf Saga and try to download the DB's, it shouldn't work
- enable it, re-open Lone Wolf Saga and try to download the DB's, hopefully it should work just fine
I have just released Lone Wolf Saga 1.17.3 that should address and (hopefully) solve this problem, it seems this could be an issue with the "non-standard" versions of Android (Cyanogen, LG, i think Samsung's OK), in which the permissions get disabled, my app is targeting an older Android version and shouldn't suffer from the permissions begin disabled, but instead is affected by that and behave wrongfully...
I hope someone can give me some feedback on the proposed steps because this is driving me really mad

Ok. So I went into the apps setting and turned off storage, went back into Lone Wolf Saga and tried to download the magnakai DB - the app then asked for permission, which I granted, and hey presto! It was there, I had to repeat these steps for each DB in turn, also the graphics.
So not perfect, but it works!
Am using a Sony Xperia XZ running Android 7.1.1

Zembar, did you get a ProgressBar that was stuck at the beginning, or a message saying that an error had occurred and you could send me the problem via email? |

DB download of the Grandmaster books worked for me after the update (Samsung S7 Edge). Thanks!
(Downloading the images DB with the destination set to SD card still crashes the app however)

I think the Galaxy S7 Edge has a rather non-standard arrangement of file system when it comes to internal and external storage... |
