Welcome to the forum section for Lone Wolf Saga, the Android app that will let you play all (I hope;) )the books of Lone Wolf! Currently the app supports only the first book, and the second book should be ready in a couple of weeks. The address at the Android Play Store to download the application is: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.GDVGames.LoneWolfBiblio , even if a simple search for "Lone Wolf" on the Play Store returns this game as the first result While there is a in-game options to message me for every problem and question, you may also feel free to contact me on this boards for every question and need you may have, and also to let me know of any bug or inconsistencies you may find in the application (I am sure there are a lot). Hope you will enjoy playing and finding all the different routes throughout the game as much as I am enjoying porting the books to Android GDV And if you enjoy it very much, please consider donating a small token of gratitude through the game "Donations" section

Great news!! The version 0.93 of the game has been released, featuring the full "Fire on the Water" book, always free to play! Please enjoy playing Portholes with the sailors of the Green Sceptre, play Cartwheel in Ragadorn and win enough money to buy the ticket to Port Bax Buy your supplies in the shops of Ragadorn, and when you will reach Hammerdal, unsheate the Sommerswerd and sail back to Holmgard to defeat Zagarna!

Why 0.93 by the way? Surely 2.0

Buy your supplies in the shops of Ragadorn, and when you will reach Hammerdal, unsheate the Sommerswerd and sail back to Holmgard to defeat Zagarna! Oh man, you just spoiled the whole book! Seriously, congrats on this accomplishment. If I ever get an Android device, I will definitely check this out!

Why 0.93 by the way? Surely 2.0 Well if I am able to proceed with steps 0.02 with every new version adding a new book, I will go with 0.99 with the last Kai book, then after I clean some possible bugs, version 1.00 will present the full Kai series P.S. @ Dave: ops sorry for the spoiler but Thanks for the compliments

I nearly posted on the spoiler - actually, I did post but then deleted it because I re-read the front of the book where the quote comes from almost verbatum By the way - it would be great if you two guys (Dave & gdv) get together - Dave has already decoded many of the books, so will be able to provide valuable insight

They are kind of important to me :> Hello naramzu I am currently starting the development of "Caverns of Kalte", while having a look at the bugs already discovered in the previous books Anyway, you are not the first to ask me regarding the illustrations, so I think I will give it a try and put the illustrations into the applicartion.... I think I will have to put them online, though, in order to keep the app package as smaller as possible, and also because of projectAon license Will let you know something as I proceed with the development

illustrations are, in fact, key - there are visual puzzles in several places (sometimes not so obvious puzzles - information that you find useful later.) The user of the application has to download the illustrations from AON, but they can be held locally on the device once they are downloaded. I'd prefer not to HAVE to have a web connection while playing - give the user the choice I guess?

Hi, first I wanted to thank you for this android app. I was (and still am) a big fan of Lone Wolf saga since I was a kid and this app allows me to live through the books and the fine story again... I wanted to ask you a few things. 1) Do you think there will be a possibility to download the graphics for each story? 2) What are the major problems of the programming / the conversion? 3) Well was checking on the app and saw that the "next book - meter" is on 60% since I downloaded the app some weeks ago. I hope you did not´ve given up on that project...
Thanks a lot for the great work! I´d love to help, however I have no experience in programming and right now I am sitting on books and learning for my finals.
In case I can help you (somehow) with the project, just ask and I´l try.
Cheers Narhim

Cheers Narhim Hello Narhim I am indeed still working on the application (I missed some time this month because I was a little busy with my job , and I have to update that indicator for sure), and I hope that the next release will contain, together with Caverns of Kalte, the images for all the 3 first books (I am thinking at the best way to implement this ) Regarding the major problems, well, I can say that, in my project, a lot of time is taken by the creation of the DB entries for the books (containing the texts for every section, the choices, the fights you will encounter, the objects you can found, and so on), then some time goes into creating some custom windows for particular sections (for example, in book 3 there is an encounter with an Ice Barbarian where you fight only one round, and depending on that round you choose a different exit: I count that as a custom window because this event happens only once in this book) and in enhancing already existing windows to add new behaviour introduced in new books... Then, another big slice of time goes into debugging and correcting the application (and debugging is NEVER enough ) GDV

Hi,
First of all I would like to say thank you... these android versions of the games are awesome... I am enjoying them very much.
I did notice one problem in Book 1 when you go to fight the Gourgaz to save prince Palethar (spelling). If you choose to use the princes sword it is listed as pince pelatar or something... ie the spelling is wrong.
A small detail and hopefully easily enough fixed... I am surprised that it is the only error I have noticed so far... you are doing a fantastic job.. thanks again.
I do have a request however... when you choose to fight to the death, if you win, the dialog window that tells you that you won covers the results of combat so it becomes hard to see how low your EP went in each fight. I realise I can look at my stats to see how badly I was injured but I think it would be nicer if you change the buttons at the bottom of the combat section to act the same way as on the entries. The buttons currently are to fight a single round or to fight to the death... perhaps when the fight to the death button has been pressed it can be replaced by a return to the entry you came from button so you can examine the results of the fight in detail at your leisure.
Another problem is that I sometimes end up with enormous amounts of coins, would it be possible to make 50 a hard limit for the money pouch you carry and anything above that is carried in pockets in the backpack with every 50 gold coins taking the space of one back pack item?
And my last question is will there be a capacity to store excess equipment that is not carried on quests? I would think that it should be accessible between books 2 and 3, 3 and 4, and 4 and 5.
Again my thanks for taking on this huge task... I very much appreciate your effort.

Thanks for your help and attention for Lone WOlf Saga I have corrected the error on Princes's Pelatar's Sword (It will be available in the next update, though), and have noted your suggestion regarding the end of the combat Regarding the maximum amount of money, that was a problem that was already signalled to me by anpther user, so I think it will be fixed in the next update And surely I will try to find a method of storing the excess equipment in the monastery, starting from the gap between book 2 and 3 Thanks again for your help and suggestions GDV
