Thanks Dave, and thanks to anyone that is appreciating Lone Wolf Saga Here I am again with another sneak peek and a question for you guys: First of all, can you guess what am I currently working on? Even if it's not visible at the moment, it's one of the most requested features, and it will be available in this section And, secondly, would you prefer to have full icons, or outlined icons? GDV

Secondly, I prefer to have full icons First, I have no clear idea but perhaps it's make copy of a profile, it would be useful to test an another path in the books without to start a new profile ? And thanks a lot for your work, I am eager to see the result.

Great news: Lone Wolf Saga 1.13.0 has just been loaded to the Play Store, and should be available for download by tomorrow What's new? - The Grand Master Series is now playable: the first 2 books, The Plague Lords of Ruel and The Captives of Kaag have been implemented and are ready to be played! - A beta procedure for exporting and re-importing profiles (also over different devices) has been introduced.... I have been able to test it on a couple of devices and it worked, I can't obviously assure that it will work on every Android device out there... Still, better then nothing! - Zoomable maps have been implemented: every player has the opportunity to customize the level of detail he wants, choosing to download 5 different zoom levels for each map - By taking Maps files out of the installation file, the weight of the APK installation file has been reduced from 7.5 Mb to 4 Mb; on a mobile device, each Kb counts - A counter for CS and EP has been introduced in the main book page, so that it's no longer necessary to switch to the Action Chart in order to check the current status; - Whilst in Combat, it's now up to the player to decide which weapons to use, and to switch them on the fly; CS calculation is now done considering the weapons effectively in use. - New layout for the Equipment and Looting sections: it's now possible to switch this panels between horizontal and vertical. - A number of minor bugs has been corrected over books 1 - 12 - The game icon has been redesigned, and should feel less "grainy". - A complete refactoring of the Monastery, Equipment and Disciplines Sections (in the Kai and Magnakai Series) has reduced the number of lines in the code source base from over 80 000 to less then 65 000 - and that's already considering the source code for the Grand Master Series). Hopefully, in a future release, a further refactoring of the Kai series will bring this number even lower. - Added a little popup in the Main Menu that will alert the players of future releases. It doesn't seem too much, but I can assure everyone that this release took longer then every previous one, and I think it's the one that brings the most changes to this app dating back from 28 march 2012, when it was first published! Hope you will like it as much as I enjoyed creating it For Sommerlund and the Kai! GDV

Thanks for this app! I recently discovered it, and have been happily re-playing the Lone Wolf books on it. I love it - nice to have all the book-keeping automated, and it removes the temptation to cheat by marking the section you're leaving with your finger and going back if you don't like the consequences of your choice I just updated to 1.13.0. My old tired eyes thank you for adding a map zoom feature (I play with a font size of 20), but the map downloading isn't working for me. If I go into the map options screen, I can download each of the different resolutions to either SD card or internal storage, and it claims it has succeeded (although it completes much faster that I think is plausible for my network speed). When I return to the map screen, it pops up a dialog "Map Level Problem" "There was a problem while reading the Map level: Base Level; please try to re-download it." This happens whichever of the levels I last downloaded. Sorry I can't give you a more specific error. It's a bit odd that you have to download all the lower-resolution maps before you can even try to download the higher ones. If I only ever want to use the High Definition level, why do I need to download the Advanced, Detailed, Overview and Base levels?

Hello Rob, I am aware of this problem and I am trying to understand what's going on, because on my device it happens very rarely, and on some other devices it happens all the time... I am currently investigating it and trying to correct it. It's a bit odd that you have to download all the lower-resolution maps before you can even try to download the higher ones. If I only ever want to use the High Definition level, why do I need to download the Advanced, Detailed, Overview and Base levels? This is the intended behaviour, I am sorry if this doesn't sound "right", but I prefer to provide the "standard" quality map before the other various definition maps GDV

A little update: Lone Wolf Saga 1.13.1 has just been sent to the Play Store, featuring the bug fix for the Maps Download problem: it will be available in a few hours I can confirm that map downloads in 1.13.1 is now working for me. Thank you! This is the intended behaviour, I am sorry if this doesn't sound "right", but I prefer to provide the "standard" quality map before the other various definition maps Ah, now that the map downloading is working for me I understand. I had assumed that it would just stay at one resolution, and the user would pinch-zoom to control how zoomed the image was, but in fact you set discrete zoom levels which switch between different map images. Given that approach, having constraints that you have to download them in sequence makes sense. Thanks again!
