I am in the process of debugging book 7 (Castle Death), and I have found something for which I am not sure what the correct behaviour should be:
In book 7, sect 233, you get to fight ad Oudagorg: "The monster is especially susceptible to psychic attack. If you choose to use Mindblast or Psi-surge during combat, double all ENDURANCE point losses sustained by the enemy."
I then have a look at book 8, sect 52: figthing a Taan-Spider: "This creature is especially susceptible to Mindblast and Psi-surge: triple all bonuses you would normally receive if you choose to attack with mind power."
In book 10 You fight the Akataza War Dogs (Sections 81 and 254): "These war-dogs are especially susceptible to psychic attack. If you possess the Discipline of Mindblast or Psi-surge and wish to use either of them, double all bonuses you would normally receive. If you have completed the Lore-circle of the Spirit, triple all bonuses."
In book 11 we have the Giant Guakor Lizard (section 227): "Owing to its weakened state, this creature is especially susceptible to psychic attack. Double the effect of any psychic attacks you use during the combat."
And then in book 12 we have a couple of enemys where the same behaviour applies (Mind reaper, 102 and 114, and Egorgh, 264 and 307)...
So, in book 7 the beahviour is to double the Endurance point lost by the enemy, this is easy to understand;
In the other books, the description says to double (or triple) the bonuses or normal effects of the skill. Since the normal effect of those skills (Mindblast and Psi-Surge) would be to add 2 (Mind Blast) or 4(Psi Surge) (or 3 - 6 for Archmaster) points to our Combat Skill, I suppose in those cases I should instead add 4 (or 8) (and thus 6 - 12 for Archmasters) points to my Combat skill when doubling, and 6 (Mind Blast) or 12 (Psi Surge) (9 - 18 for Archmasters) when tripling the effect.
Did I get everything correct?? Or should also books 8 - 12 receive a double or triple effect on Endurance Points losses instead of the (normal) Combat Skill boost??
