I'm playing Caslte Death and have come across this in section 78 fighting the Lekhor:
From reading this I'm guessing its a typo and meant to read either double or triple. But as there are elements of both words in it I'm not sure which would be correct. There's also the possibility that treble does mean one of those things or something else I'm missing but searches on this board and google haven't turned up anything useful. So does anyone know what is meant by treble in this context?

"Treble" is perfectly acceptable English for "multiply by three". Most commonly used these days in the disparaging phrase "trebles all round!" when lampooning bankers. (referring to them ordering treble whiskies)
