Hello everyone, Sorry if I am repeating / requesting info available elsewhere, but I am wondering what the status is of the english-language version of LW20 collector's edition; specifically from the point-of-view of a Mongoose megadeal 'customer' who agreed to stick with Mongoose supplying the books instead of getting a refund?
I finally received book 19 from Mongoose around May this year after many emails, claims of books being posted etc (as it sounds others experienced). As far as I can tell the English language version is available to order from Mantikore. Am I being foolish expecting a book 20 this year from Mongoose ... ?

I gave up a year or so back and received my Megadeal refund from Mongoose. I have been ordering the new books directly from Mantikore-Verlag and it has been going great. I just received Book 20 on Friday via international mail.
It looks like Book 21 is going to be published at the end of November, although inevitably the Mantikore publishing dates get pushed back a few months (Book 20 was originally supposed to be published in June and was pushed back to late August).

I stayed with Mongoose. Of course, I get the books a little bit later than those who ordered them directly from Mantikore. But the money I paid in 2007 (yes, that was 7 years ago!) means that each book (gamebooks 1 to 28 plus the 2 novels published by Mongoose) will cost me approx. $22 in the end instead of $27 that you have now to pay when ordering from Mantikore. And if the unpublished 29 to 32 finally see the light of the day, I will get them for no extra charge. I expect to get my copy of book 20 by the end of October or at the begining of November.

Thanks for the reminder why I decided to stay with the Mongooose path; there is still some logic in it. That and if I asked for hard cash I figure it would take longer than waiting for the books. I think I'll send an email to Mongoose now asking about LW 20...

I just checked on the Mantikore webshop: because I'm in canada, I have to pay an extra 10$ for shipping,so that $37,94 per book if I order from them! So happy that I stayed with Mongoose! When you'll get an answer, can you tell me what it was? I don't think that if I also send an email I'll get a different answer than you...

My book 20 turned up at the weekend!
I never could have afforded the megadeal and I'm glad I didn't. But Mantikore's books are really expensive.

I gave up a year or so back and received my Megadeal refund from Mongoose. Wait, you got a refund from Mongoose? You must be one of the lucky few. I'm one of the many to whom they lied about a refund (and then ignored for months on end). I gave up, asked for a refund, never got it.
