I think John will be disappointed that he didn't get to start the thread... Hopefully he will be cheered to hear that book 18 is already nearly 20% completed!  |

Not huge progress - now it's 25% - still, it's an improvement. Just picked it up again late tonight, and I hope to go some more done in the next few days. The last few weeks have been intense at work, and Christmas break is finally starting!

wow - can't believe it's been half a year! Sorry, no good news - I haven't worked on it at all during that time. Life is simply insane, and I've got some major projects lined up for several months. I'm not at all sure when I'll be able to get back into it...

And now it's been a full year... Still planning on getting back to this. Life has a way of remaining incredibly busy! I am heading a committee at my university to hopefully hire a second faculty member to work in my area, so it's not just me teaching all of the main classes for our area. It was supposed to happen a year ago, but didn't, for whatever reason. Hence, you can see how we are in our current situation with book 18!
Keep your fingers crossed - if things go well, I should get some relief soon (at least relatively soon - it will still be several months before I stand a chance at working on Seventh Sense.)

Yes, I got my new computer all set up to work on Seventh Sense, and I just finished modifying the code which now allows the program to download books, covers, etc. correctly! That's something, at least! |
