Aloha! Just recently discovered Lone Wolf, and all thanks to the Android app. Hail gdv!
However am constantly getting killed by the Villains of Sommerlund, even with full EP + Alether potion +2 (CS 27) am I just unlucky or? Do others have this problem?

Your CS is pretty low. The Villains fight is indeed impossible at that Combat Ratio. How did you get past Chaos-master, though?

Probably doesn't have the Sommerswerd, so then gets the Ironheart Broadsword and a chaos master with significantly weaker stats. The villains is the tougher fight for a character without the Sommerswerd. chaos master: 40 cs and 58 ep (with the Ironheart Boradsword +8 cs) Villains f sommerlund: cs 38 ep 46. With full EP a bit before and an alether the chaos master is at -5 cs and that's half decent chances to win. You are forced to put back the Ironheart Broadsword afterwards, so you will not have it vs. the villains.

I've fairly recently made a play through of all the books (up to 22) and their mini-adventures. (Mongoose and Manti-core editions). I've posted a summary of the play through, including danger level ratings for each book and mini-adventure. daziarn.proboards.com/thread/982/danger-level-booksLone Wolf 11 is the book which I rated as most difficult. Followed by 1 (yes, the new version is much much more difficult with a compulsory fight against a high cs enemy and with high risks for death by random number) and 17.

But unlike popular opinion, there is absolutely no reason to leave the Sommerswerd is storage for that book.

But maybe they lost it (in book 7), or didn't have it (not played book 2)?

Hi guys and thanx for the replies.
I did indeed leave the Sommerswerd behind, mostly out of curiosity, having carried it with me through all the earlier adventures. So the Chaos Master was no real problem, but those dastardly Villains of Sommerlund beat the crap out of me every time.
Made the decision to start the whole series again, with better stats. Am now starting book 2, with the following stats: CS 19 EP 28 Sixth sense Tracking Healing Mind over matter Weaponskill (axe) (haven't chosen new disciplines for FOTW yet)
So what do you guys think, better odds for making it come the Villains of Sommerlund?
Thanx again! Blaldur

It has always been iffy to leave anything at all for safekeeping between 10 and 11. You really should go on with your stats unaltered.
Overall, the easier path is to have the Sommerswerd with you. The chaos master is harder, but the villains and everyone else are easier.

It's tough either way- the ChaosMaster with As is Brutal, the Villains are almost as hard without. The other battles are pretty inconsequential really, assuming you have Circle of the Spirit & Healing. It's strange, 8 to 11 have a series of really tough battles for Ss users; it's almost as if Dever is telling you to leave it behind for a bit...

So I went forth with my new improved Lone Wolf and slew the living hell out of the Chaos Master and the Villains of Sommerlund on the first try! Made sure I had the Sommerswerd + Circles of Spirit, Fire and Solaris too. BAM!
Thanx again for the help Kais...

Yes, having the three best Lore circles (Fire, Spirit, Solaris) by book 11 is hugely helpful (especially since that means that you have Weaponmastery and Psi-Surge), as well as acquiring all stat boosting equipment throughout the Kai series (Shield, Padded Leather Waistcoat, Chainmail Waistcoat, Silver Helmet, Distilled Alether Potion).
You get an extra boost to your combat skill specifically for the Chaos Master fight for having the Lore Circle of the Spirit also.
