Intrigued by the 650 sections! Obviously very excited about this, but at the same time it's funny as we get close to the end of the whole saga, that there's a tinge of sadness to that. I remember when book 12 was coming out, thinking that was the end of it all and being a little sad about that, and then finding out a year or so later that there were 2 or 3 more books and being a bit disappointed that it was being dragged out. Obviously I got over that since

Intrigued by the 650 sections! Where did you heard there were 650 sections? EDIT Ah, I think there is a confusion here. From magnamund.com: "The second posthumous Lone Wolf book and the penultimate adventure in the saga. It is also the largest Lone Wolf adventure - standing at a mammoth 650 pages." I think it will still be 350 sections (book 32 should have 550) for 650 pages. If you remove, let say, 50 pages for the Story so far, rules, Action Chart, Random Number Table and illustrations, each section should be 1.7 page long, or 310 words per page (it was mention on Facebook that this adventure had 186,000 words) .

How many books are planned for this cycle? The next book after Dusk, Light of the Kai (book 32) will be the grand finale. They have not mentioned any plans beyond that.

Obviously I got over that since I understand the feeling. But do you think Joe Dever really wanted to end this saga with the 12th book and later he repented and went on making books? Because it´s what I always thought.

Because it´s what I always thought.[/quote] I think that, by the time he had gotten to releasing book 12 he wanted to continue the story, and that he had an idea how that'd go. But given how well all the elements of the broader story had been tied down - Vonotar, the Darklords etc. - it felt a bit like making sequels to a successful series of films because people wanted to enjoy the mythos. Now that things have gone beyond "let's keep Vashna from getting out of there" and "let's keep Agarash from getting out of there", it's a good wrap-up if those can be put to bed.
