Hey all, Let me start off by saying that this website is a super convenience for me, not having to search endleslly to find the books . I've been around here for 3 years and I have to say its nice to see Dagger of Vashna out!! But, I have a few questions and issues that seem strange. The grand master discipline Deliverance (something like that) is confusing. How would you know when its 100 days? Also, I honestly say that Dagger of Vashna is one of the easiest book I've everplayed. For instance, I have 27 CS, and since I played all the books, I got friggin gigantic powerups: Silver Bracers: +2 Kagonite Chainmail: +3 Sommerswerd: +8 Grand Weaponmastery: +5 Kai Surge:+8 Helshezag: +7 See what I mean?? Unless Ive been doing something wrong, my combat skill would be 54 (not counting Helshezag)!!!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. P.S. How do I make an avatar?

Theoretical maximum for the Legacy of Vashna -- that's the one you mean, right ? -- would be :
With Whole Series 19 to start +8 Sommerswerd +2 Silver Helm +5 Lorecircles +3 Kagonite Chainmail / Bronin Vest +2 Silver Bracers +8 Kai-Surge +5 Grand Weaponmastery +3 Grand Master +1 CS per adventure 55 TOTAL.
With Grand Master Series Only 34 to start +8 Kai-Surge +5 Grand Weaponmastery +3 Grand Master +1 CS per adventure 50 TOTAL.
The book is almost impossible as stand-alone given a further -3 CS (still assuming you pick a 9) and vicious EP losses throughout.
And if you dual-wield, well, with Helshezag, you're basically cheating. ;D

Welcome Captain_Turtle!
For the 100 days, I just say that I can use this option once per book, that's it. I think that is what the author meant.
As for your avatar, you have to know the URL of a picture that you want to use as an avatar and post it in the right place in your profile.

And if you dual-wield, well, with Helshezag, you're basically cheating. ;D The Oiseau I thought you could dual-wield, since Lone Wolf can hold a broadsword in one hand. As for the book, it was basically really easy, even those two tough guys at the end. What really frustrates me is that number puzzle. THERE'S NO FRIGGIN SOLUTION IS THERE!!!! I gave it to this guy who is a math genius and he still couldn't figure it out!

There's no mathematical answer to it. Check the second issue of the Kai Grand Sentinel for an explanation of it.

Or you could just tell me right now...

Long explanation, but roughly x=x or 0=0, where 0 in the Lone Wolf books often refers to 10 (look at the RNT: sometimes, the text says that the 0 counts as a 10).

Hey moderators, I think it may be beneficial to make the Shamath's Riddle post a sticky or something, so people can easily find and peruse it. That question gets enough to warrant it, I think.

Thomas/anyone, if you want to add a section to the bottom of the Rules FAQ thread about Shamath's Riddle, or start a new thread entirely, I don't mind. But I ain't writing it, 'cos frankly, I don't understand it! I added a section to the FAQ regarding the use of Deliverance every 20 days; what/where is the reference to every 100 days?

I added a section to the FAQ regarding the use of Deliverance every 20 days; what/where is the reference to every 100 days? It's referring to the Improved Magnakai Discipline of Curing, attained at Archmaster level. www.projectaon.org/xhtml/lw/12tmod/imprvdsc.htm

Gotcha! I'll knock something up to add to the FAQ thread. Thanks, Vonotar.
