I decided to redo Books 21 to 31 and eventually do Book 32, but I have a problem. Is my character too weak for Books 21+? or would choosing the right initial Disciples and choosing the right initial Disciple after each book make him salvageable
The problem is that I generated rolled A 9 for my characters Combat Skill but I generated A 2 for Endurance and A 0 for Gold. This guys going to be big trouble, I know it
This means that my character starts with A Combat Skill of 34, which is the highest Combat Skill he can start with, but he also starts with Endurance of 32, which is the 3rd lowest Endurance he can start with, and 20 Gold Coins, which is the lowest number of Gold Coins he can start with

Getting a 9 for CS will carry you, it's fine probably.

Endurance won't matter if you have 34 base combat skill and right choice of disciplines: grand weaponmastery, Kai-Surge, deliverance and herbalism. For the fifth you can take grand huntmastery (recommended) or elementalism or Kay-alchemy. Of course you need to buy potions and gather 3x cowana in the book 21.

On the subject of Potions in every Book it says you can take 5 items but it doesn't say that you can't take multiples of the same item, so does that mean that I could take 4 or even 5 potions? Also because its been more then 6 years since I last read Book 21 can you tell me how I get The x3 cowana in Book 21?

You can fill your backpack with 10x [Laumspur Potions] if you gather them. For LW21 book, please follow this suggested Walkthrough: lonewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Voyage_of_the_Moonstone:_WalkthroughAfter leaving Bir Rabalou, at section [65]: Get 3 doses of Cowana with Herbmastery. They restore 4 EP each and can cure poison. Graphic map: www.projectaon.org/en/svg/lw/21votm.svgzPro hint: you can do "ctrl+F" 65. Happy hunting!

Yes, you can take multiples of the same item. Not at the start. You only get one potion if you choose that option. It's also debatable if the meals count as one item each or all of them as one item. I believe it's the former. I looked briefly in the Reader's Handbook and didn't see any clarification.

Yes, they each take up one space in the Backpack, but the question is whether they count as one selection in your starting equipment. If the list states "Food for 4 Meals" and you pick that, have you chosen one starting item or four?

If the list states "Food for 4 Meals" and you pick that, have you chosen one starting item or four? I interpret this as it counts as one starting item because it is a line item. Past books have "you choose from the following list" so I would think it follows the same rules. The meals take up 4 slots though.
