Hi, new to posting but been here for years lurking.
So recently dug out all my lone wolf books as I do from time to time. And got thinking about the different editions. Had some questions which I can't find easy answers to online.
Was it only the first 4 of the legend novels that were printed by beaver books and published by arrow books limited? I can't recall seeing these prints for book 5 onwards.
And second question.
Is the red fox book version of hunting wolf published by Random house children's books a particularly rare version? i only ever see the beaver books version for sale. And I can only find a random google image of this cover to show it's existence (and one user of these forums has it as their profile picture). So was curious if it was ultra rare or I've just not looked at the right times when trying to purchase.
Thank you for any replies. And thank you so much for this site.

I don't know the exact answer but Demian's Gamebook page has (most) of the covers of the series. It might help you: link

Thank you for the reply! That is one of the resources I had been using. It would indeed suggest that only the first 4 books have a beaver books version. However, it doesn't show the alternate red fox book cover for hunting wolf. So was curious if anyone here knew personally about it.

Yes, there were only 4 books done by Beaver. For those covers 1 & 3 were done by Fred Gambino. Not sure who did 2 & 4 (maybe Brian Williams). I have the Red Fox edition of 4: Below is the original art from the artists site - This and all other Red Fox LOLW covers were done by Peter Andrew Jones:

Awesome, thank you so much. Wish me luck in finding a copy of 4 in the red fox edition!

Good luck - it is sadly definitely one of the hardest to find, as the final reprint it had a low print run.

It's the final red fox one I need so I'll keep looking. And if you ever want to sell yours let me know (if that's allowed of course). Thanks for all the info. Great help.
