First of all, hello ;D I've read the faq and what it said about possible translations of the books, here's what it says :
Q: Can you publish these works in other languages? A: Not at the present time. Joe Dever has been successful at getting some of the books published in other languages. If he gives us permission, we will seek volunteers fluent in the requisite languages.
I'm curious as to when that permission will be asked because I would be more than interested in helping to translate the books in french seeing how the lone wolf books were some of my favorite books when I was younger. And don't worry, even though my english might have some flaws, I'm a french canadian from Québec, I know perfectly how to write in french ;D

I'm studying in communication sciences in university, so I know to write pretty well. Even more, I own all the books of the LW series, so it might helps.

The problem is, of course, that the books are still available in France, so therefore the rights are still owned, so therefore Project Aon can't do a French Translation. A shame on the one hand, but at least the books are still available to buy for French speakers ([darn], I knew I should've kept up with the lessons at school! ). Translations of the books would be a very interesting area for Project Aon to move into, but right now--and until we can 'secure' the rights--we're going to be concentrating on the dozen or so English (UK) editions of the books we have left to work on. If we hear anything else about the rights to foreign-language editions, rest assured that those on the mailing list will be the first to know, but the members of the forum won't be far behind. I hope this has been of some interest and assistance.
