..I last used my Archmaster Curing ability? The books can be pretty vague about the passage of time even within the adventures, and if I ever end up going through another shadow gate....

Essentially, I always take it as flavour text to mean 'once per adventure'.
The only potential issue a rules stickler might have is between Books 17 and 18 as they take place concurrently.
Of course, the use of Shadow Gate could easily be seen to negate the 100 days since time travels differently inside and on the other side of one.

'Course, in Book 13 you can get the Grandmaster Discipline of Deliverance which lets you do the same thing "once every 20 days". I take it this does not actually mean you get to boost your EP twice per book (ie once each for Curing and Deliverance) but is actually just a slightly tweaked version of the same flavour text.

I think a lot of it is actually flavour text in the books surrounding the Lorestones. Afterall, you get two lorestones in one book at one point, but only one extra discipline! It thought that was really confusing! Al
