Quoth Project Aon Coordinator Jon Blake:
If you'd like to help us iron out the final bugs from Shadow on the Sand, as well as try out our replacement for Statskeeper, follow this link (Flash required). If you don't have Flash, you can still find the pre-release of Shadow on the Sand here.
Any comments/queries/problems should be reported to us either in this thread, or via the Contact Form.
Also bear in mind that we are doing an enormous amount of editing and fixing 'behind-the-scenes', so to speak. As Jon mentioned on his recent blog post, many of the fixes we are making to the text are being incorporated into the Mongoose editions, which is why we're going back to the start, revising the books we've already released, rather than going on with Highway Holocaust and Dawn of the Dragons. However, fixes in earlier books become precedents for later books, meaning we can progress faster once we have in mind what sorts of things need fixing. All four Freeway Warrior books have received some work, and Books 18-20 of the Lone Wolf series are undergoing rather intensive editing right now, alongside the revision of the earlier books.
The wiki Errata pages are testament to how much has already been fixed in Books 18-20, and these lists will hopefully continue to shrink as more and more things are fixed or rejected in earlier books, setting precedents.
Please don't lose faith in Project Aon. We're genuinely committed to releasing all the books, but we want to do the best job as we possibly can, and quality takes time.
For Sommerlund and the Kai!

I've been hoping to engage the interested readers more with the goings-on here. For example, I just posted to the blog about the new Statskeeper and our work on Shadow on the Sand. Most readers would rather just be notified when the new books are ready to read, but for middle-of-the-roaders who actually want to know more without getting all the mail from this list, I would like to invite their participation by some other means.
I haven't been paying attention to the forum enough to know whether this already happens there, but consider this an invitation to do the same kind of things there.
