Didn't anyone else notice that the plural of Jedi is still Jedi and that there should be no apostrophe there anyway??? (Deliberately doesn't mention the US spelling of sabre...) NS. So, what color would your saber be?

Oh that's easy - purple, like Mace Windu's.
I have a few Jedi characters in our D20 Stars Wars campaigns. My Zabrak Sith Consular/Sith Acolyte has a red one and my pacifistic Adarian Jedi Consular has a blue one (both of these are around about 40 years after the death of Exar Kun, about 3940 BY). I also have an NPC Feeoran Jedi Guardian/Jedi Master who has a grey lightsabre (Old Republic). My favourite though is my Bothan Noble/Jedi Consular who has an ornate cane with a green lightsabre concealed inside it, but who also has a secret identity as a powerful telekineticist with a purple lightsabre! (He's Rebellion Era for obvious reasons!)
Okay, I just got carried away there...

Frankly, lightsabers/lightsabres won't be fashionable until they are colored/coloured in plaid patterns. We need a grungesaber/grungesabre, that's all there is to it.

Grunge? You *do* realise it's all down to light being passed through crystals, right? NS.

Burberry lightsabres would be awesome. I'd buy one.

(Deliberately doesn't mention the US spelling of sabre...) NS. Actually, you should accept the Americanized version of this as canon. I used to think the "re" suffix was how it should be spelled, because "canon" is first set by the movies, then the official novels, then the radio dramas. In the movie for ANH, the word is never spelled, but Alan Dean Foster spelled it "re" in the book, which made it the first appearance of the word. I always spelled it that way, until this past year when my wife picked up a copy of the original script for the movie. In the script, Lucas spells it "lightsaber", which makes that the primary canon source for the spelling. Just thought I'd share that. . . I'm done being nerdy now! No, man, lets get groovy and go with the sixties look. I want a paisley lightsaber! ;D

I want a clear lightsaber, so I can be all stealthy and stuff. "What's that humming noise? Is that your lightsaber?" "Oh, no... It's uhmm... A big fly. That's it!"
Either that, or a neon brown lightsaber, just to give that extra moment of hesitation. "Wha... What color IS that, exactly? I mean, does that color really exis- AAGH!"
I need more sleep. Nerethel

Well... you all can see that my lightsaber is always BLUE in every Star Wars movie, I'm not changing it from one movie or another as Anakin or Luke do ( both of them my pupils, not bad, I must tell... ), because it is my favourite colour. Simply. Anyway, I would like to see also a yellow lightsaber in tne next (and last) movie... it wouldn't be so bad... the golden colour is the same as the Sommerswerd, ins't it ?

Plo Koon's sabre was yellow (the Kel Dor Jedi Master from the Old Republic) - and yes, like the Sommerswerd. And Relenoir, both Alan Dean Foster and I are British. George Lucas and his scriptwriter are American NS.

Ah, but what kind of handle would it have?
Personally, I think that an aqua lightsaber would use Admiral Calfen's telescope for a handle.
There was evil magic in that telescope! Evil, I tell you! EVIL!
I need a nap.
