I note that as at this morning the PA forum is now at 182 members Out of curiosity does this reflect the number of people signed up to the freelists.org mailing list. I'm sure the answer is no and if it is then do we know how many people are actually signed up to the PA mailing list? With the sudden surge of interest in Lone Wolf, what with Mongoose publishing FFtD under d20 and TToTS starting, I'm curious to know roughly how wide the LW community is now

It's an interesting question.
I would love to know how many copies of the Main RPG rulebook Mongoose have shifted I think that this would give us a good idea of the fan base.

Sorry - my post is a little confusing .....the freeslists.org list I refer to is the PA mailing list, i.e the mailing list that replaced Topica. Basically just wanted to know what number of people are signed up to the list vs the 182 members on this forum. Hope that clarifies it.

Me too. They say it's selling well regionally here in the states, and I'd be interested to know what regions have it, because I can't find anywhere around here that does. Considering all the worthless crap these mega-bookstores carry, you'd think they'd at least have one copy of something worthwhile like this. @dv: Seven million copies sold, and 182 members. We are the elite! I think we need to be passing out bumper stickers and pencils or something to boost our numbers. KL

I think you all know who I'm going to come as - so on that note please don't have the convention in summer as a thick costume of long blond hair and carrying a big axe is going to be dire hot for me.
I just have to come up with a noise for my dagger when I swish it around, then I'll really fit into the convention thing.

Or have a cosplay convention where people can come dressed as their favourite Lone Wolf characters . . . We'll need more fans to do a convention than just the few of us who are posting regularly on this forum... Still, it would be so cool! We should be able to have a better convention than the ones the Star Trek fans have. ;D

KL I found a copy at 'Hocus Pocus', a small, downtown RolePlaying Game store (they have all sorts of D&D stuff, Magic Cards, collector's items, the works).

Tough part would be finding a place that we could actually all meet, after all, we're a global organization! ;D What country is universally the cheapest to fly to?

*checks columbob's location* Hmm, I thought you'd suggested it because you live there. I see I was wrong. Why on earth would you pick Cuba?

Columbob I don't want to deny you a holiday in sunny Cuba , but I think any convention should be in London (or the UK at least), mainly becasue Joe Dever lives over here and it would be great if he was to make it. In saying that I've never been to Cuba BTW - any ideas on the numbers as per my first post?
