This is probably one of the nicest-looking gamebook releases ever. The first two Lone Wolf books are reproduced exactly (though slightly enlarged) on high-quality paper in a sturdy (limited edition?) hardback with the colour map shared by both adventures on the back of the dust jacket

As for rarity, this book shows up probably once every 3 months or so. It'd be nice to have, simply because of the hardbound nature of the book. But since the others were never done in this manner.... You could say it's rare in frequency, but not rare in actuality. At least not that I know of. In my experience, the rarest in frequency is the Arrow/Red Fox release of Eclipse of the Kai...I've seen it 3 times in 2 years. But as we all know, personal value often exceeds actual value by a fair amount. If you want it, go get it! Only be smart. Use www.auctionsniper.com to keep from getting in a bidwar. And DV, I know you just like the dead giaks on the cover. You gory man, you. KL, too lazy to log in

Sorry to ruin it for you KL but that previous post wasn't by me - not too sure who the phantom Vashna is?
Anyhow as it is - yes I do like the gory front cover. I agree with you that the hardback omnibus is a geat buy for any fan. ****mmmm...Vashna lovingly looks at his own copy that's signed by Joe*** OK I'll stop bragging now.
