I'm betting others could come up with something more ...characterful, or interesting at least.
(I don't think I'll need to prompt anyone Hunting Wolf, give it a day or two...)

Well, it's kind've being done already, as OCREMIX has it's whole radio thing set up, and there are NES and SNES radio stations, respectively... and finally, while I love video game music, and have about 800 remixes on my itunes, I'm not sure there's a huge interest in hearing old, say, Atari music. Really, SEGA GENESIS and SNES becomes the first systems you can listen to music from.

Ya know, my favorite RPG music, is the Final Fantasy series, and the Dragon Quest/Warrior series. Oh, and the Zelda series too. They were the first games I ever played. Well, there was the Super Mario Bros. which came with the Nintendo, remember that, Zipp?

Remixes of 8-bit music usually makes for the best tunes. game music these days is all about orchestration while leaving no room for any hummable tunes. The Spectrum 128K was pretty good for music (the sound AY chip was also used in the Amstrad CPC, and the 128K +2 was AFAIK the first home computer to come with a built-kin MIDI port). Some of the tunes are excellent, though they'd need remixing. The Amiga is really where it's at, though. Forget games consoles; the Amiga 500 sound was ace, and you could even extract the music if you had the appropriate ripper software. And the A1200 improved on that considerably! ;D

Damn, Cloe! That is alot o' games! I have ROMs and emulators, not naming what, in case some durn fool eejut tries to get me in trouble, but I CAN name my games, and here they are:
PlayStation:
Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy VIII Final Fantasy IX Star Ocean 2: The Second Story Tetris Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (boxed set, it includes Luccia's pendant, a huge book, a silly paper cut out game thingy, and a CD of the Lunar music) Parasite Eve II
PlayStation 2: Final Fantasy X Final Fantasy X-2 Star Ocean: Director's Cut (I recommend this game highly to any one who loved SO 2!!) Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers
Super Nintendo: Final Fantasy III Wizardry 5 Super Mario uh, 4 or something? I don't remember Double Dragon 2 Doom I know I'm missing a few.... OH YEAH! Donkey Kong Country Can't think o' the rest....
And there ya have it. Might be missing a few from all the lists, I dunno. This was just off the top o' me head.
By the way Cloe.... if you remember.... in Super Metroid, when you go down into Ridley's lair, and hafta fight the gold Chozo.... how the bloody heck do you kill it?? I'm dying every time! And I have about um, 10 energy tanks, 130 missiles, 25 Super Missiles, the Super Bombs don't work. I'm at a loss as to what to do....

He's just a heavily armored Chozo. Use Super Missiles and he'll take some major damage. Hitting him in the stomache I think works best, if I remember. Believe it or not, your charge beam also works well, and if you have the plasma beam, then he doesn't stand a chance.

Well, I tried hitting him with Super Missiles, and the stoopid thing keeps turning sideways and blocking my shots lol

I have play Metroid not so long but I don't remember him. Ah ok, yeah. He's a pain in the .
But I never have difficulty as you with him. Use your 130 missiles without stopping firing to him. When your missile will be at 0, try with your super missiles and charge beam. You should be able to beat him. For me, in that piont I have almost 200 missiles, 40 super missiles and miss one or two energy tanks and have the four reserve tanks.

Not that I'm lucky, I have play the game so many times that I know all the place where are the upgrades. So it's kinda easy when you finish the game with 100% items found.

Yeah... I needs me a better.. uh... game. Yeah. Game. Heh heh. I never could play those Roms. I'm a hard copy person myself. I like having it in my hand. There's nothing like the thrill of placing a SNES cartridge into the system and switching it on, and then finally seeing the start up screen. I guess the only thrill like that is placing an NES cartridge into the NES, and then wondering whether it's going to play or not.
