In the unlikely event someone makes a movie of the lone wolf story, how would you like it to be?
A grand epic with impressive special effects and music?
A dark sombre drama with the doom of the world ever present?
A light hearted adventure with lots of dash and humour?
A visual art movie with highbrow themes and very little dialogue ( and all of it in french)?
A phantasy sword and sorcery movie with lots of spells and magic?
Or what other kind of movie should you like to see from lone wolf?
I think I should prefer a more down to earth kind of movie with a very physical quality relying on the heavy look of Chalk and Williams images, and with magic and non-real element beeing kept to a bare minimum.

You mean down to Magnamund, not earth. And I kinda want the movie like the Lord of The Rings movies were.

Sure down to Magnamund if you prefer.
I would loathe for it to be anything like Lord of the Rings. It would suck all the charisma out of Lone Wolf and Magnamund. But I think I can understand if most people would prefer Lord of the Rings treatment.

but who will be the main characters? Obviously Lone Wolf but then he cannot be the only one in the movies. Maybe throw in Banedon as a side character?
if there is/are movies(s), this is how i would like to break it into:
PART 1: combine books 1 & 2 PART 2: book 3 PART 3: book 5
parts 2 & 3 assuming that the 1st movie is accepted well all around...

Agreed. Unless it is to be television series there will only be room for one of the stories in a movie. It should be books 1 and 2 which are one story and introduces Lone Wolf, the Kai, the World and the Darklords.
Banedons role might be extended. Perhaps as much as becoming a companion of Lone Wolf though I suppose that would negate the lone part. But if there is only one movie I see no other way of including Banedon.

Lone Wolf is the story of a single warrior using his unique training and abilities to defeat hordes of evil goons. That screams "1980s action blockbuster" to me.
This flawless logic leads to a single conclusion: the role of Lone Wolf must be played by Chuck Norris.

Lone Wolf just means Last of the Kai - not that he has to journey alone. I see no problem with bending the story to include companions on a more regular basis. That being said, it should work quite well with a single lead.

Anyone ever seen the animated show, Avatar: The Last Airbender? Its my favorite cartoon because its both for children AND adults, and I did some thinking last night. I want an animated Avatar-esque Lone Wolf. Drawn in that style like an anime.

great idea too but if it is made into an animation the story cannot be made to feel 'epic', as with most of the fantasy stories out there...

While I am a fan of light-hearted humor, I can't see how the LW series could be cast into that without seriously messing it up. . . . . .unless LW runs the wrong way during Book 4, which becomes a running gag. . .

Believe it or not, a friend of mine who was a film student and I kicked this idea around. I had written a rough draft of a screenplay for books 1-2 as one movie. I don't want to spoil too much, but one of my favorite things I wrote was a powerful shot of the sun setting as the Kai went to bed before the massacre. And as Lone Wolf awakes in the morning to find them dead, he is silhouetted against the rising sun...sort of foreshadowing. Also during a montage where he is walking past some sunflowers and they turn to follow him (after he has the Sommerswerd)...very quickly, but another cool shot IMHO).

A light hearted adventure with lots of dash and humour? I can't see how this could work well. Book 2: (At the gaming house) Lone Wolf: [pointing at the 'attractive young woman'] Moley-moley-moley-moley-moley! Book 4: Cpt. D'val: Are all Kai Lords loudmouth braggarts? Lone Wolf: Nope. Just me, baby, just me. Book 19: Baron Caldar: He's not the last of the Kai, he's a very naughty simulacrum.
