another strange thing. Hardcore, book 5, section 168. I have recollected my lost items, and I possess the Sommerswerd, but my equipped weapon is Jewelled Mace. However, in first turn of combat I still lose 0 EP due to "hardcore two-handed weapon rule"...

Hmmm. I'll have to double check that I didn't accidentally make the Jewelled Mace a two-handed weapon! (I shouldn't think so, but it's possible...)
In fact, neither the Sommerswerd, nor the Jewelled Mace is a two-handed weapon. Did you even have a two-handed weapon in your possession at the time?

My equipped weapon was Jewelled Mace, I possessed the Sommerswerd and Dagger of Vashna, and common Warhammer and Jakan as weapons.
EDIT: It is confirmed. This status persists as long as I have Jakan in my Action Chart. When I discarded it, the "two handed rule" disappeared.
IMHO Jakan is a two-handed weapon, and the program checks if some two-handed weapon is in my inventory, regardless of whether it is equipped or unequipped.

Ahh. I see it now - thanks for tracking that down with such precision Honza. I think the issue comes about because of the fact that you cannot actually equip the Jakan, since it is not a melee weapon... I'm sure a simple/small code fix will correct this bug.

Fixed in code. Also fixed a small bug where if you lost your backpack in book 2, you could begin book 3 without a backpack...

Is there a rule somewhere that says you can only use one Alether potion before combat? The direct rule is for alether berries only, it is stated here. I suppose similar rule should be applied to potions. Would you say generally that only one performance enhancer can be used total before combat? Or could you use a Potion of Alether, Alether Berries, and Agdana/adgana (I forget how to spell it) all at once? (so, pretty much just not be able to use two of the same thing...)

I would say so. Of course you could add item "Allow multiple combat enhancers" into program settings. Maybe in Hardcore and By the Book you should not use more enhancers in single combat (or not use enhancers of the same type), but in custom rules an option should be offered to do this.

Good idea, Honza. How about the following interpretation: By the book : not allow multiple enhancers of the same type, but yes on different types Hardcore: only 1 enhancer allowed before combat Custom: you can stack as many as you want, even of the same type.

I think this should satisfy every Lone Wolf

I fixed the misaligned cursor when entering a number (typed in, like when you drop or bet Gold Crowns).
Incidentally, I also added the ability to manually select stats in Harcore. You get 10 points, and can apply up to 7 to either attribute, or you can choose to apply less than 10 total points, even as low as 10/20. talk about challenging!

I just realized that such a change would invalidate all current By-the-book or Hardcore games in progress... I shall include the limitation on Alether berries, as it is specifically mentioned in the book, but I'll let the players decide on whether to use multiple sources or not.

Hi, I just spotted another minor bug (version 1.5.2). Book 2, section 348. If I choose to evade combat, the program immediately send me to the section 125 (without fighting the evasion combat round).
The similar section 268 is working properly.

Just a question. The Card Sharps's Dagger has a x1,5EP bonus, which won't apply against Drakkarim (in book 5). Do you consider Drakkarim to be humans? Imho they are humans (although they aren't humane )
