Actually, I was more drawing on my old D and D knowledge, rather than reality. I seem to remember warhammers being two handed... Yeah...as what you could see in warcraft, but the warhammer is way tooooo big.... But let's stick to the rules in the handbook. Otherwise, we as players could always interpret the rules based on our judgment. ;D

By the way, did you take your moniker from FF8?

Of course...just for the readers convenience for the simplest thing to do, or the readers could explore the entire threads, which is not likely to happen (Hey, I'm not underestimating anybody for not doing so, ok?Hahaha) About your question, actually not, because that is Laguna Loire, played that game dozens of time.... It comes from anime: The Slayers.... What about you?You seemed like a die hard fan of Final Fantasy also. Your previous avatar was Sephiroth, am I right?

Never saw Slayers, though I did know the avatar was from that show. I've had many avatars, more than any other person on this forum. Sephiroth was amongst them. My current avatar is Yuffie, also from FF7, as she appears in the new FF7 Advent Children computer graphic movie. www.adventchildren.net/ff7ac/media/screens.htm

SPOILERS HERE REVEALING PLOT POINTS FOR FF7 Yuffie is a side character that, like Vincent, you can beat the game without getting. If you fight in the forests sometime after leaving midgar (I think you can first get her rtight before Juanon) then you have a chance of fighting this travelling female ninja. If you beat her, she will ask you a number of questions. Answering them in a certain manner will convince her to join your team. She is a spunky girl who lives to collect materia. If, after getting her, you travel near to Wutai (her hometown) she will steal all of your materia and flee to her home. Following her there, you will get a small sidequest where you team up with the Turks and finally see the end of Don Cornio. Yuffie's story comes out later. She fled her hometown because she found her father to be weak and dissaproved of the way he let Wutai be overrun by Shinra and turned into a tourist spot. If you fight her father, the two will reconcile and you will gain the Leviathan materia.

I always thought that the FF series was way too long, far too repetitive and loose on plot. But then that's just my opinion.

I just discovered the FF series, thanks to Nintendo and their release of FF: Dawn of Souls (FF1 and FF2 on the same cartridge) for GBA. Although I liked FF1, I must say that FF2 is far much better. The plot is more interesting, the way to gain experience is more challenging and the game is harder. I'm still not finished with it, so don't post spoilers please!

No it's PS1. And North Star, which ones have you played? FF10 has a beautiful story. Black Cat, you are almost beholden to buy FF10 and play it. Of course you'll need a PS2... I'll ship you mine.

Oh, if you want to ship your PS2 to me for free, no problem! Here, I'll give you my address... 2 months laterTV host: The Zipp-a-Bomber made another victim today. The bomb was hidden in a PS2 system that a 22-years-old Canadian man received by mail. The victim's last words were: "Wow, this game kicks bu...!"

Ha ha ha ha ;D I forgot you're only in Canada. [nuts], I should just drive up with the PS2 and stay until you're done with it. Oh, should've posted this link earlier. This is THE premier site for getting info on FF. Considering the size of the series and what these guys have put together, one has to be amazed: www.ffcompendium.com/(People who like FF should be able to get some good avatars off this site)

I'll ship you mine. Eh? I thought the new FF7 is in PS2, @ least..(the old FF7 of course it's in PS1) Well, I can't afford to buy any PS, just because I've bought grafic card for my PC... So, the only playable FF is FF8 (which has the PC version), unless there are PS2 emulators coming soon... But I still need PS2 to have the PS2 emulator's copyright, right? So Zipp, you've changed your avatar,...again. But I can't recall the girl's name. The characters from FF10 that i can remember are Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, the rest I can't remember, including the large picture of that man I have sutekidane, but don't know what it means. Need to ask someone who knows Japanese Language. I wonder why it isn't translated into English, just like Eyes On Me (FF8) and Melodies of Life (FF9). A good thing about FF's Legacy is their songs are nice and touching The game? The tiring part is to find rare items, which kills my excitement. That way, Lone Wolf Series is better... Erm...better get back to Lone Wolf now.

They didn't translate Sutekidane because it really wouldn't have sounded good in English.
The new FF7? You mean the one I've been advertising for? It's a movie, not a game.
And yeah, the avatar changed again. This time it's Rikku, from FF10, another spunky character who may be a distant relative of Yuffie's. 10 and 7 do take place in the same world after all, an unprecedented occurence in the world of Final Fantasy. And believe it or not, FF10 would take place prior to FF7.
