Well, we could always sign them as the traveling minstrels in "The Chasm of Doom." Well, I was thinking that, but considering that Cloeasians (which is where the Asajir Players come from) have dark brown skin, the Mariachi aspect wouldn't really fit culturally. (Don't mind me--just more petty complaints about the Legends series.) Actually, that's quite a good idea. I like the idea of the troubadours putting on their play ('The Brave Warriors of Sommerlund', or something similar, IIRC) and having a showdown at the end of the play where they just twitch their swords and remain almost motionless for about ten minutes before two of them throw (fake) throwing daggers at the third, whilst in the background trumpeteers and players on clarinets, violas and a pianoforte, and a female soloist, whip the crowd into a frenzy of tension!

Well, we could always sign them as the traveling minstrels in "The Chasm of Doom." Guess you have unpleasant memories of this instructor. How nice! Nah, I didn't go to Harvard. Too cold up there. Anyway, Helen Thomas used to be a member of the White House Press Corps, but got banned for having a personality correspondent with that face.

I don't think they should make a Lone Wolf Movie. Its too . . . Limited of a media. I think a Straight to DVD would be better. I mean think about it. Interactive DVD. You could make the decisions for the actors, watch them loose the combat and die, only to start the whole DVD over. Go back and make all the choices, and watch a whole different movie. That is the appeal of the books, that is the strength of the books, lets play on it. Forget the movie, go interactive DVD. Plus to save cost (i know we are dreaming here, but I am in reality mode) Do it all in computer animation, much like the DND interactive adventure on DVD.

Wow, an interactive DVD animation, kind of like a video game. Sounds a lot like those old video games Space Ace and Dragon's Lair. I think it would be awesome! Of course, a better platform might just be straight to the Sony Playstation II. That uses DVD's as well.

But if they did that, it would be a video game and not a movie, right? Digitize the characters and remove the actor element and it takes another step away from the movie idea.
Don't get me wrong! I think a video game like that would be amazing! I'd get it! But there's still room for a movie, here. Yes, they'd have to take some liberties and change the storyline a bit. Apparently Joe Dever is willing to do that for the sake of the Magnamund's popularity... (Legends).
Consider, if there was a movie, and all the little gamers who hadn't ever heard of Lone Wolf went to see it, the popularity for the series and RPG would grow immensely, and maybe Mr. Dever would feel more compelled to write more books! Or other fun projects...
Yeah, it's a dream. But if we weren't dreamers, we wouldn't be Lone Wolf fans!

Where on earth did you get that idea from? Grant/Barnett was playing the Politically Correct race/gender card right from the start.

I know this is completely in fantasy land that this would happen but ok: Zagarna (voice): andy serkis Vonotar: tough one I'd have to go for a mid 40's actor and then have makeup for his ageing: Gary Oldman? Lone Wolf: an unknown Banedon: It's really hard to look past Ron from HP Alyss: Maxine Peake (anybody who knows who she is might think i'm nuts) Ulnar: Phillip Glenister Quinfer: an unknown Guildmaster of the brotherhood of the crystal star: keep away from the obvious (ie Ian McKellen, Christopher Lee and Dumbledore...)
