Maybe, but I await for DF to respond in a traditionally witty manner... Al

Oh, I see… because as the Cheatingest Cheater in Magnamund, it’s impossible that I’d look at some rules loophole and say, “Man, that’s just not right.” I mean, it’s not enough that my solution to the dilemma with the dagger is to glue it to the end of the staff and turn it into a magic spear. No, no, I have to improve of taking Tarama seeds and using them to unleash limitless blasts of magic at my foes, too. To you, I say...
Darn it, why didn’t I think of that when I was playing Gray Star?
And that’s honestly it. I just didn’t think of it, because the idea seemed too ludicrous. Nothing in the rules forbids it, but it just feels like a violation to me. Besides, the only time I’d ever really need the help is in the first book, and I don’t think you get Tarama seeds in that one.

Heh, well my moral compass extends to most cheating, not just the obviously broken things, so that does tend to count me out!

This reminds me that I have to check and see what the rules say about that jewelled dagger, since I never could figure out why Grey Star would want to wield any weapon other than his staff.
