I've done that in the past, but usually the U.K. Bank will surcharge the person cashing it. I find it easiest to use paypal, but that may not be an option for you. See if a family member will let you use a credit card through there.

My favorite New Order book is easily Rune War. This is primarily because, not only is set in the Stornlands, which is an area of Magnamund that I am a huge fan of, but because a lot of the action takes place in the hustle and bustle of a small town, with lots of ducking and diving taking place.
Mydnight's Hero was probably my second favorite, albeit by a slim margin, because it contained elements of The Jungle Of Horrors, my favorite Magnakai book, that being having a companion, and also another desperate race against time scenario. Also, and this is a continued theme in my favorite books, it had lots of scenes in the kinds of settings that I am big fan of, like wide open plains, small villages, and shadowy alleys.
Vampirium was another favorite, once again because of the settings factor.
I was not keen on Trail Of The Wolf, because it struck me as The Masters Of Darkness-lite; it was basically the same storyline but with some minor changes, and I'm not a fan of rehashing storylines in such an obvious manner. The Fall Of Blood Mountain was ok I guess, but I couldn't really get into the setting of it, which is strange, considering that type of setting is usually one that I enjoy. The Hunger of Sejanoz was pretty weak, and I felt it was definitely lacking in terms of storyline, excitement, and all around punch. It did not help matters that it only has 300 entries, instead of the usual 350. The publishers tried to disguise this fact by making the print about 25% larger, so while the book is thicker than others, it is still shorter.

Well I have Books 21-24 + 28 of the New Order and if I hadn't been going to university the very next day, I could probably have had 25 as well. *sigh* My book collection is rather patchy too.

I liked very much The Fall of Blood Mountain because of the Tolkien atmophere in the book... it is one of the two books strongly ispired by the Lord of The Rings. The Fall of Blood Mountain remembers me the Moria Cave scenery in The Fellowship of the Ring: the Dwarfs of Moria excaved in the depths of the earth for the Mythril, revealing the Balrog that was the source of the destruction of their realm... so as the Dwarfs of Bor found the Shom'zaa, in their search of the Korlinium. Very similar, eh ? The room of the throne, too, is the same place where the dwarfs' resistance took place. You also find the tomb of a Drodarin Prince with carvings on it... like the tomb of Durin, prince of Moria. And how look like the Drodarin carvings ? As those of the Lord of the Rings, of course !!! The other adventure strongly ispired by Tolkien is The Masters of Darkness, quite similar to the story of Frodo in The Return of the King. The Darklands are so similar to Mordor... you must penetrate in the core of the evil empire (Orodruin / Helgedad) to destroy the artifact of evil (Ring / Tanoz-Tukor) This results in a total defeat of Evil. Well, I bet there are so many other points of contact between Dever and Tolkien if you look...

good information about the plots, characters, etc in the NO books? Or is that on the Tower of the Sun atlas?
It kind of sucks having to shell out more than 100 bucks for one book that is likely to be reprinted or put online eventually.
BTW, are the New Order books ever going to be printed or released somehow? I don't see the point in holding onto these thinking they will be re-printed.
