I voted Gologo; sadly there are only 8 possibilities for the poll, but we can express more here (Darke, Barrakeesh, Bisutan, Mogaruith, Varetta, ecc.); for cities of southern Magnamund we could create another poll. P.S.: sorry for my unstoppable writing spree, but I'm so happy to have found this forum

I voted for Xaagon because it's a very strange city. The original Ixians built it but who were they? There's not a lot of details about this civilisation. Also, it feels strange to have a city so far away from other civilisations, good or evil. Even Helgedad, which is in the middle of a desert, is closer to another city than Xaagon is. I also like its location to be near the limit of the known world, close to the North Pole.

I also like its location to be near the limit of the known world, close to the North Pole. *Pictures Ixiataaga dressed in a pair of black boots, a red and white suit, and a hat with a pom-pom and begins to laugh hysterically* My mind works in mysterious ways! ;D I chose Tahou, only because it intrigued me in that it was so old, and also because it was built over an entirely different civilization that still exists and is one of the oldest in all of Magnamund. Neat history there! Loved descending into the Cauldron. . .

just e puntualization ;D Yanis the bright city isn't in North Magnamund, but in Daziarn, but it's in book 11, and Southern Magnamund appears only in book 22.

I voted for Helgeded because I'm currently reading Mongoose's The Darklands, but I also like Tahou (because I just re-finished The Cauldron of Fear). And welcome, Gnaag! NS.

It's nifty and there's a straight 50/50 chance of the plot changing slightly halfway through...
Incidentally, what does the Giak in your signature line translate as?
NS.

It's a phrase from book 8: Lone Wolf looks into a water cup, and the Gnaag's imagine forms, saying this; I guess it means: "You'll die, Gnaag says that", but never known for sure.

...the Gnaag's imagine forms... Just to be helpful, you mean "the image of Gnaag forms". And I guess that if we had a copy of the Magnamund Companion with us, we could translate it anyway. Any offers anyone? NS.

Now, why did I *know* you were going to ask that? It was a slim book released for a slightly younger audience years and years ago. The Lone Wolf RPG by Mongoose consists just of the main book and their Darklords supplement so far. NS.

I remember translating it many years ago. If memory serves right, it should be something like "Listen and obey Darklord Gnaag" (he was expecting his helgast).

Ah, sweet Torgar. Okay, I'm biased since it's my favorite cover. Nyxator, you're right on with the translation. KL

Well it was relatively amusing, to me at least. I chose an obvious Kai name and the names of the twenty Darklords *are* well documented NS.
