Well it was relatively amusing, to me at least. I chose an obvious Kai name and the names of the twenty Darklords *are* well documented NS. ok but let's admit this: darklords are the best actors of LW's gamebooks...must of the success is due to them ;D P.S.: on the top cover of book 1 in italy, the illustration of Peter Andrew Jones shows a very fat man with a dagger; have someone see it? If yes, have you an idea about this person? I thought it was Zagarna, but in the John Grant books I learnt that Zagarna was a worm (friend of Alyss also!).

No, Zagarna was not a worm. He was a huge blue thing with lots of arms and teeth. If you believe the Grant buggering-up, Zagarna and most of the Darklords were invented by Naar from essence stole from other times and places. Not a bad idea, but still.

He's also on the first cover of the French book, and on the latest Red Fox cover of the English edition. According to the Darklands book for the RPG, I think it's Ghulg or something (I don't have it with me right now, I'll confirm later if nobody else does so).

Interesting...
Anyways, I narrowed it to Tahou and Holmgard and chose Tahou for the more broad description and better sense of what it looked like in my mind.

I go for Helgedad for the simple reason that it is the culmination of the Magnakai series - and now we all get to play it ourselves thanks to Mongoose!!!
On that note, I think one of the key areas of success in the Lone Wolf series is that still years on after first playing the game I love finding out new things, eg. what happens when I leave various special items behind, going to the castle instead of the archery contest in book 6 and so on...
Thanks PA for keeping alive the imagination and magic of Magnamund in all of us. ;D

I choose Yanis, not from the Northern Magnamund list, but from the cities in Lone Wolf Series available up there. Its a wonderful city, I can imagine that. The transporter (which brought LW from Yanis to Serocca's Realm, what is that?I've forgottent), the huge winged beasts as vehicles instead of normal horses - its an astral plane anyway..... If the Magnificient City of Dessi was up there, I'll choose that one too.I can imagine the hologram machine displays the Castle Death.Interesting Technology, combine with the magical race of Elder Magi.Fantastic! Helgedad and the others in the list?

Helgedad and the others in the list? Ehm, don't you like the list? ;D I said that many cities are left uot because the list is only 8 places long; however, I could have put inside Elzian, I admit; but I really don't remember a normal description for that city; it's said that it's beautiful and great, but not described as well as others. The others on the list are all very weel described and everyone is different and has its own charm; if a town is evil, it doesn't necessary mean that it's ugly. Just think to Helgedad: the great pit around it, the black towers, the enormity, I immagine someone could have like it (I for sure ;D)

I'd have put Varetta there. Certainly the description in Section 100, as well as the rest of the sections is appealing to me.
Zaarynx is also a fairly cool and atmospheric place, so that'd go on my list too.

Not quite. Tahou is built on top of Zaarynx.
